What are your 5/6/7 year old girls wishing for this year?

I'd love some ideas about what my girls might like, they are 5.5yrs and 6.5 yrs old.

They don't really watch much tv and I think if they saw more toy adverts then they might have some idea of what they'd like but they have no ideas! We'd probably be looking to spend about £60 each (plus little bits in their stockings and PJs on Xmas Eve) but could go higher for something really great.

What are your girls wishing for this year?

A build a bear wardrobe and an accordion

Littlemousewithcloggson · 10/10/2015 21:02

My 6 and 7 year old girls have asked for:
Clever Keet
Stretchkins
Teksta kitty
Chocolate lolly maker
Domino run
Playmobil (park and vet clinic)
Ds games
Lego friends
Magic tooth fairy game
Roller skates

belindarose · 10/10/2015 21:03

More Fairy Playmobil - I don't know if I can cope with any more though!

Sylvanian house boat

A desk

A dolls seat for her bike and tassles for her scooter

She won't be getting all the above, not from DH and I anyway!

leccybill · 10/10/2015 21:10

I have a 5.5 yo DD.
She has asked for:
Heelys (I said no, wait til bit older)
Secret Password Journal diary thing
Equestria Girls Doll
Barbie car

We've bought her a karaoke machine as a surprise main present. £30 in Costco, flashy disco lights and everything baggsy first go

Littlemousewithcloggson · 10/10/2015 21:16

Leccybill I have bought the same karaoke machine for my 2. Can't wait to try it out!!

MsMermaid · 10/10/2015 21:19

Mine wants a new bike and "a wiggly bum scooter". I think that's one of the v shaped scooters that some of the older dcs round here seem to have.

DownAndOutAndAbout · 10/10/2015 21:39

Thanks, really useful suggestions. I've never heard of some of them so I'll go and have a look on Amazon.

The only thing they've mentioned was Shopkins but they seem to just be little figures, very similar to moshi and zomlings so not really inclined to buy them. I suspect they'll be easily lost and soon forgotten.

Dd is 7.5

My little pony
Play mobile
Craft stuff
She wants some heeleys and a stunt scooter.

IAmAPaleontologist · 10/10/2015 21:45

Dd will be 7 in December. She wants the Lego Jurassic world set with the white T. rex and a family of soft toy penguins to go with her baby penguin.

Loobylou3 · 10/10/2015 21:47

Is there a link to the karaoke machine or could you put a picture on? I am interested in one for my 6.5yr old dd and £30 sounds very reasonable.
Thanks

DownAndOutAndAbout · 10/10/2015 21:59

I think ours would love a karaoke machine too, £30 seems very good. My neighbours might have a different opinion however!

Yes it's this one
Vivitar i-Sing.
It is £29.99 in Costco. A good deal, I thought.

YellowOlives · 11/10/2015 07:42

My 5.5 yr old is getting a desk. This is the one thing she really wants.

Other things on my potential list and from grandparents -
Playmobil vets
Ariel's sea place Lego set
Hama bead set
A dance mat
Wishing Chair books

I also like the idea of a CD player for in her room, but that can wait until her birthday.

YellowOlives · 11/10/2015 07:43

Just also thought about a watch. DD would also like one now she's learning to tell the time.

MooseyMoo · 11/10/2015 08:17

My 5 year old loves craft so I have got her a Djeco set and Klutz hand art book.

Also Lego Frozen castle (JL and Amazon keep reducing to £25) and a little live pet bird.

DownAndOutAndAbout · 11/10/2015 08:21

Yellow great ideas, mine have a desk each and they get so much use for practicing spellings, HW, craft and colouring. They both also have a cd player in their rooms and they like putting on some music while playing with there lego or whatever.

leccy that karaoke machine looks fab. They'd get lots of use out of that, especially when they have friends over.

For small bits for the stocking I've got them each a large Zelf (£4) and the Glitzi Globes Starter Kit (£4) and a Hello Kitty /Shopkins Annual. They seemed like a bargain.

musicinspring1 · 11/10/2015 08:26

My DD saw an advert for something called sparkle science and wants that. Plus shopkins and craft stuff. Her cousin likes littlest pet shop.

BeeMyBaby · 11/10/2015 08:49

My DD (almost 6) really wants a ukulele, clothes and a unicorn soft toy

katienana · 11/10/2015 09:00

Why don't you take them to a toy shop for a browse? That's what I do with my ds to see what he really likes. It can actually be a nice day out in the run up to Christmas

PaleBlueDot · 11/10/2015 09:24

DD has just turned 5 and she would like:

Frozen Ice Sleeve
Rainbow Dash flip pony thing
Spacehopper
Doggy Doo
Books
iPad (think we will get a family iPad for all 4 kids)
Frozen Night light

Although she has been looking at Santas big book of ideas (argos catalogue) and her list changes everyday!

JosiePye · 11/10/2015 09:28

My 5.5 year old loves her shopkins! I can't see the appeal myself but she's had them for months and plays with them every day.

Sleepingbunnies · 11/10/2015 09:30

The only thing my 6 year old has asked for is the Lego friends tour bus. So I found it for £40 on amazon.. £49 on the actual Lego website! :)

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 11/10/2015 19:41

My 5yo has asked for Applejack and roller boots. I've also got her a Barbie electric guitar and microphone half price in the Tesco sale, the Lego Frozen castle, and a Kiddizoom. Maybe that's too much - I've also got a jigsaw and an Etch-a-Sketch to share with DS.

AnotherShirtRuined · 12/10/2015 10:11

My DD just turned 5, and her birthday presents consisted mainly of Lego Friends sets as per her wishes. She now has a considerable collection of both larger and smaller sets but she wants even more for Christmas. Anything Frozen related is also high up on the list.
