Asked a work colleague (male) and he got all excited about a Seiko Sportura - they are expensive but not exciting - to me anyway !

my dh does that. every year we say we not getting each other anything and he always gets me something and i never get him anything. he is used to it now.

Ooh - my dh would like that too - and he's 37 as well ! maybe it's an age thing - was Evil Knievil big when they were lads ??

to be fair though he did give me a long story about when he was a child his neighbour had one of those but he didn't and he really really wanted one but they didn't have enough money

at which I said something along the lines of "30 quid? thir-ty quid? you still don't have enough money"

don't you just hate it when they say 'I've bought you something'? quite obviously with the hidden message of 'so you'd better get me summat or there'll be trouble'

How I long for a list...an actual list..as opposed to

followed after much reminding by

and then eventually he may actually name a CD he wants..

(not only do I have to get him something but am also asked for ideas by my dad, my sister, DH's sister, his parents...)

dp is awfull at getting my pressies, i have to do a list then he tells me what shops hes going to so i figure whats on the list and where he would get it from and so i know what im having!!

i allways know what to get dp though he has no idea this year its
