Digital radio
Personal digital radio
Subscription to Uncut
Money for clothes

(Hmm. My Christmas list comprises small items all under five quid. DP appears to be living in a wild fantasy world.)

he looked so sad and upset and kept sayng i thought then youd brought me a ps2!!then i said let me find your present and gave him his ps2 wrapped up when he opened it he was speachless he could not beleave it!! i love shocking him

pebblemum · 30/11/2006 16:35

Last year the only reply i got from dh when asked what he wanted was 'a red ferrari' so i bought him a corgi one He had a lot more too but at least he got the one thing he asked for although i dont think it was quite what he had in mind lol

This year he has got (so far)
Stargate series 1-9 box set (47dvds)
Nike T-shirt
Wilson t-shirt (golf)
Lots of golf things (gloves, tees, towels etc)
A golf ball shaped mug
A Wilson golf club (but hes had that one early)
Pair of popeye socks (wouldnt be christmas without socks)

I still need to get him a couple of other bits and his usual novelty item/boys toy. Last year he had a RC car and burping beer mug. This year i might get him racing nuns and something else, not sure what yet (hes just a big kid at heart and would get upset if he didnt get something stupid)

WhyDooLittleStarsShine · 30/11/2006 16:39

Dh wants a wine decanter!

zippitippitoes · 30/11/2006 16:41

a weightlifting belt

Glassofwine · 30/11/2006 16:45

dh wants a video ipod

can't afford one

sophiewd · 30/11/2006 18:08

My Dh just wants socks as the dog keeps eating his.

ShowOfHands · 30/11/2006 18:16

DH seriously won't tell me what he wants other than 'nothing, I'm not bothered, a day off work' etc

The annoying thing is, I have to get him something and I can't possibly cater to his actual tastes as I'd have to go into Games Workshop and ask for "some of those little orcy gobliney wizardy things that grown men seem to think are real and spend forever decorating just to have them eaten by the cat when they're finished and they end up practically crying because their set of space commander elite doodahs is now incomplete.

Now I want a prize for longest ever sentence on MN!

I want an Etch-a-Sketch for Christmas, I've asked every year for 20 years. Still haven't got one.

Kelly1978GotRunOverByAReindeer · 30/11/2006 18:23

Stockingsofdinosaurs · 30/11/2006 19:25

DH wants a ukelele, apparently they're very chepa and easy to learn. But I've got him some boring old shirts already so he'll have to wait until his birthday in Feb.

Stockingsofdinosaurs · 30/11/2006 19:27

Do you remember when you used to get petrol incentives and everyone had the same mugs (cream with red or navy flocks of birds), wineglasses and Xmas decorations (balls of foil cones)?
Can't remember what made me post this here now, I'm sure there was a good reason.

monkeymonkeymoomoo · 30/11/2006 19:34

Some boring computer game

We don't usually buy presents for each other, but we do have to buy things for the kids to wrap up for us both.

Guess who has to pick ALL the pressies????

And then have to look surprised on christmas day!!!!

He does keep saying that he'd love a laptop, because i'm always on our pc!!!

Says he never gets a chance to go on it, tough life!!!!

I might surprise him, if he's nice to me!!

Probably get him a book too and a new wallet ( the moths ate the other one!!)

WHEELYbahhumBUG · 01/12/2006 09:00

first series of 24 on dvd (my response - thought we were only buying cheap pressies)
Graceland on CD (but dd/I bought you te new Paul Simon one for fathers day - him, 'but it was sh*t)
Travelling wilburys on CD (Whats teh point in me buying that I won't let you play it).

Needless to say, he'll be getting all 3. PLus some other stuff.

TinselgalacticWalrus · 01/12/2006 09:05

DP asked for a light sabre (sad) and "some DVDs" which is helpful.

I have got him a PS2 (against my better judgement) and some games

He need some clothes too, as he is stuck in a fashion rut. He looks like a student from 1990.

He's facking awkward to buy for though.
