What to buy for 9 year old girls?

As a mum of 3 outdoorsy boys I struggle when it comes to knowing what 9 year old, very much not outdoorsy, girls are into.
Any help with my nieces in the £10-20 bracket gratefully received! I know they aren't into Sylvanian families as someone bought some last year and I know they haven't played with those. For their birthdays it was suggested I buy them book vouchers so would like to get a proper present this time.

Everything dame said!

Lego friends are very popular with that age

My 9yo dd hates lego friends with a passion Grin

Craft kits - knitting, hanna beads, aqua beads all popular here.
Nice pens and a diary
books - my dd loves the david walliam books
clothes? A pretty top or t.shirt

My dd has requested this and one of these

David Waliams books are terrific. my 10DD finds 'The top secret diary of pig by emer stamp hilarious. she's lent her 3 copies of the same book to friends and never had them back ( it is a bit of a silly book with lots of kids immature humour though- not everyones cuppa Brew).

Fluffy Diaries [[www.claires.co.uk/elephant-lock-diary-notebook/shop/fcp-product/40199 ]] - ?10

Invisible pens - a HUGE hit www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E7OUPB4?keywords=invisible%20pen&qid=1443122443&ref_=sr_1_12&sr=8-12

?1.90 for 2 -stocking filler every year and have to get more mid year.

pop vinyls - very cute
