Thankyou to a mumsnet santa who sent a small gift for W and D in westmidlands. Wish we had a clue who you were so we could thank you properly.

I wasn't expecting anything else (except maybe the christmas tree). This parcel arived at just the right time to lift me a little as my Nan passed away on Wednesday.

Santa Claus who sent a gift wrapped in silver paper to ds D thank you and Happy Christmas xx

MerlinsBeard · 16/12/2006 19:19

AQ Just letting you know my crafty things arrived today !! Am quite emotional at the moment and burst into tears when i answered the door to the postman!! I have never had "proper" craft papers before as acid/lignin free is usually out of my budget.

Also, JM from LCC are you sure thats all for me??? There is rather a lot!

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 16/12/2006 19:26

A big thank you to K Lo for our box of goodies.(EC in Somerset) Im sure DD2 will love the hairdryer set.We made necklaces and bracelets with the craft bits today and i now want to go and look to see what else they do!
Thank you for the Asda gift card too although I have had to swap it for cash with a friend because i don't drive and can't get to our nearest Asda but I will be using it to pay for Tesco shop online which i thought i would have to cancel because i had no money.
And also my smellies.I love the hand cream gloves. My hands get quite bad in the cold weather.
Thank you thank you Thank you.

idontlikecrusts · 16/12/2006 21:38

We have had a mystery parcel come from Cumbria - is this any of you lot?

You live at no.12 and sent to us in France, VERY anonymously.

Please tell me who you are so we can say thanks! We are chuffed to bits, again!

x

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 16/12/2006 22:25

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 16/12/2006 22:33

Yeah , was going to change my name but have thre pages up atm and couldn't be bothered

idontlikecrusts · 16/12/2006 22:37

Well thank you ever so ever so much then!

We were most mystified! Do I know you in RL even? I used to live in Cumbria you see...

Spent a whole morning Googling and stalking you!

The children will love the books and we are doing crafty christmas stuff this weekend so will be having a whale of a time thanks to you (and franny who also sent some glitter and bits!)

xxxxx

Happy Christmas

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 16/12/2006 22:41

Not as far as I know, where abouts were you?
Did you find me on google?I never find much

idontlikecrusts · 16/12/2006 22:54

No, you are sadly ex-directory, of course, so we only managed to get the road name!

Thus I could never be your RL stalker!

I used to live in Langdale and worked in Barrow!

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 16/12/2006 23:02

I'd be really private if I didn't post my life on here

idontlikecrusts .. if you're who I think you are ... A with 3 children? then please check your email because I sent you an online voucher from Amazon in your country and I'm hoping I did it right ... I know its probably now a little late to redeem but still I wish you a merry christmas

magnolia1 · 17/12/2006 21:19

I recieved a Sainsbury's voucher yesterday No clues as to who sent it but wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU XXXXXXXX

Love M and Girls

andaSOAPBOXinapeartree · 17/12/2006 21:19

idontlikecrusts

I've sent a couple of emails to you asking for your post code as some post offices wouldn't accept parcels without it!

I have a couple of people who are waiting for your postcode before sending out - so if you could please email me on:

[email protected]

I will forward your postcode on to those MNetters who are waiting for it

idontlikecrusts · 17/12/2006 21:39

soapy, I'v enow emailed you but in case you don't get it is:

61120

LadyOfThePoinsettias · 17/12/2006 21:47

OMG!
Thanks to LAZY_COW who sent me all the vouchers. I could not beleive it when I opened the envelope! And yes, I would love the parcel if you manage to track it down!! Thanks so much and love and hugs to you and yours!

Also, Soapy, I think I need some help. I got a card through my letterbox on the 5/12/06 from parcelforce saying they have five parcels for me.
I missed them, obviously, so rang and asked for them to be redelivered to me. They said yes, no probs, but I have done this 3 times now and they still have not brought them!
I dont know what else to do? I can only assume they are from an MN'er. I'm not expecting anything from anywhere/anyone. If they are from an MN'er, you would know and maybe ask them if they can help get them delivered as they will know the consignment number etc and maybe have more clout than me being the sender? If it is not from an MN'er who can help, I have no idea how I will get this stuff.

Also, I am sorry I have not been on during the last week. I am trying to start earning a crust selling on ebay and at the moment it is taking up all my time.
I miss you all! x x x

JARMsSanta · 17/12/2006 22:21

JARM,

Have you received a parcel from Sutton Coldfield.

It was posted out on Wednesday last week, and had 3 wrapped parcels inside. One each for the girls and 1 for you. There was also a Christmas card in there.

JARMgotstuckupthechimney · 18/12/2006 08:09

JARMS SANTA

I posted this on thursday....

Madame Butterfly - THANK YOU so much, a present each for the girls and one for me!!! THANK YOU

Im assuming that was you!!! Forgot to check the postmark!!

THANK YOU!!! I have recieved FAR TOO MUCH but you will not believe how much this has helped us get through christmas this year, and because of the sheer volume, we have decided to keep some things back for during the year ahead for birthdays if that is ok.

Although the girls have been spoilt rotten by you lot, and we appreciate it no end, there is too much there and the girls will be too overwhelmed.

I THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND A HUGE THANK YOU TO SOAPY FOR ORGANISING.

You are all wonderful, MN is a fantastic place and we really would not have had the xmas we are now going to have without you lot.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU xxxx

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 18/12/2006 08:10

fortyplus · 18/12/2006 09:04

gratefulreceiver - hadn't spotted your message saying that the voucher had arrived - that's great! Hope you get some other things, too, so that you and the boys have a really good time at Christmas. xxx

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 18/12/2006 10:21

This morning a completely anonymous Mner has sent us some money to help towards our 'expenses' on the trip being so kindly provided by the season tickets of FoxInSocks for 14 year DS, to see Chelsea on the 30th.

I have no idea who you are but DH and I are speechless at your kindness and generosity and want you to know what a difference you have made, you really have, during this 'very tight' week right before Christmas. I just don't have the words to thank you and these ones are not enough.. I know it's a cliche but it's true. Thank you so much.
