MammyMto3kids · 08/12/2006 21:49

Thankyou so much to the kind MNetter who sent me two parcels for my children, C, J and baby J, all beautifully wrapped and thoughtfully written on in 'secret' gold pen above the label what each contained! I can't wait to see their faces when they open their Sindy doll and Balamory bus! Also thankyou for my gift, sorry, I have opened it, I thought it was leaking!!! Very nice chocolate smellies!!!! Thankyou again!

puddytats · 08/12/2006 21:58

I am glad you got it, foundintranslation. It has been a pleasure.
Soapy, if you still have it, could you email me foundintranslations email, otherwise i will cat her

Thankyou

santasaltire · 08/12/2006 22:06

shinyhappy, I'm glad you like them. I didn't wrap them, so you could see what was sent and i though you may like to use the glitter and pens before hand, alternatively, they would make good stocking fillers!
i didn't have a clue who you were until i saw the message you left, I'm not good with RL names of mumsnetters i'm afraid.
I hope you, and your family have a very merry, peaceful Christmas.xx

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/12/2006 22:27

Well then in that case - thank you very much misdee - the clothes are perfect (DS only has little legs, bless him

DD is in dire need of pyjamas she is wearing ones where the trousers are actually 3/4 length now.... - just as well no-one else gets to see her in her PJ's

I really appreciate the thought that went into it, and I was PMSL at "this box does not contain PMT of any description"

sockmonkey · 08/12/2006 23:21

N, with little ones A & H - WOW!!!!!

It took me a little while to stop crying after recieving those 2 wonderful parcels. We are completely stunned at your generosity.
I have to admit we have let S have the singing christmas bear now, as he woke up while we were looking through the boxes. He has not put it down, and copies the swaying head moves. N loves books & puzzles so he will be so excited. DH was very giddy about the jams too.
thank you thank you thank you thank you

threelittlegifts · 09/12/2006 00:30

Another parcel arrived today!!! Oh wow!!! I snuck it upstairs with the solemn warning to the dcs "it might be to do with Christmas, so no peeking !" Dh and I opened it and are sending a heartfelt thanks to the MNer from The Cottage with an Exeter postcode

We got lovely pyjamas for all three dcs - how lovely they are! Some stacking cups for ds and some smashing scrapbooking kit bits for the dds. PLUS - and this made us LOL - a box of Yorkshire Gold tea!!! Someone has been reading my posts!!! And some shortbread too - yum yum!!

VVQ, for me to part with my PMT box was a big deal, its very treasured here, and we actually have pics of it, how sad it that! usually its a junk box, and its moody with being full of PMT i'm glad the pj's were a good buy. i'm trying to get dd2 to get rid of her old 3/4length pj's (she has plenty the right size) but she wont part with them. comforting i think.

LadyOfThePoinsettias · 09/12/2006 12:40
