yes, but try to choose something that is reasonably comfortable.

biglips · 24/11/2006 22:01

yes

hulababy · 24/11/2006 22:02

We wear PJs for the greatest part of the day No special clothes for Christmas Day - tend to get dressed up more on Boxing Day when we have the family round.

FrannyandZooey · 24/11/2006 22:02

I have a lovely fleece with a reindeer on. The reindeer is clearly Rudolph because he has an amusingly red nose. If you press it, it plays Jingle Bells!

NotQuiteCockney · 24/11/2006 22:04

We normally get dressed up and going to MILs. They are coming here this year, guess I can stay in my PJs then .

Oh Christmas day in your PJ's sounds very decadent. No chance around here as family descend at the crack of dawn.

pelvicfloorSNOWmore · 24/11/2006 22:06

I shall probably be working so cant stay in my pyjamas.

Smurfgirl · 24/11/2006 22:24

lissiew · 24/11/2006 22:25

yes!!!! high heels and make up i even dry my hair

paulaplumpbottom · 24/11/2006 22:27

We usually spend the morning in our PJs, then jeans for our christmas walk through the forest, then smart casual for dinner. Cardigans with sparkly trim, that sort of thing.

expatinscotland · 24/11/2006 22:37

No.

We have Xmas at home and I pad around in some comfy jeans so I can eat, eat, eat.

I do the girls' piccie in their dresses and then take them off so they can play in comfort, especially now as DD1 likes to do messy crafts.

pelvicfloorSNOWmore · 24/11/2006 22:49

Paulaplumpbottom-Walks in the forest?

We pretend to be smart and sophisticated for church but kitten heels and cashmere are no good in our muddy fields so it's back to scruffy sweaters and seen-better-days trousers as soon as we get home.

The DCs dress up though. DS1 was wearing a Snow White dress for much of the morning so who knows what he'll slip into on Christmas Day?!

paulaplumpbottom · 25/11/2006 12:43

5am pelvic floor. I blame my Mom, she was always like this to.

corrina28 · 25/11/2006 13:48

smarter then normal, but still comfortable.

motherinferior · 25/11/2006 13:50
