I thought I had better start a new thread in case the old one falls over at 1000 posts.

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have helped make this a huge success Thanks to all of you, life will be a little bit easier for some of our MNetters this year!

Firstly all of the MNetters - without you this would only have been a pipe dream! Givers and receivers - all take a bow

Then the corporates:
GLTC - for going well beyond the call of duty
Hazell -www.verko.co.uk- for her most generous offer of christmas trees - I hope you join in and make some new friends here
Great expectations - a lovely company with wonderful fairtraded toys and again help beyond what was expected.
LCC - to Jaysmummy for her crafty goodies and warm hearted support
www.thesweetiestop.co.uk - for their generous support

And of course it goes almost without saying, MNHQ!

**

How it works:

You email me:

[email protected]

as a giver or receiver. If a receiver I will ask for a bit more information to find a good match for you. If a giver I will find someone for you to send your gift to.

All matches to be done by 30 November (did I really promise that)

All gifts to be posted by 15 December (at the latest).

OP posts:

I never realised that it was possible to smile with tears running down my face till this all started. Now I can't stop grinning and crying at the same time.

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 14:50

I wanted to know who nominated me, and Soapy said no Methinks she did an evil cackle at the same time.

I'm wanting to give nominators a big hug and say thankyou sooo much for caring enough to nominate me

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 14:50

piximon · 27/11/2006 15:05

Hi Soapy thanks for the match. They sound perfect for the things I have. I'm really happy to be part of this.

sam27 · 27/11/2006 15:16

Hi I am interested in sending my parcel through payperdrop but as it says 1 collection, 1 delivery attempt I will need to find out when my receiver will be in?! I guess Soapy is the only one to help me with that. Just worry about sending her emails as don't want to send her over the edge!!!!

PS love this thread, you are all so lovely!

SisterOfSoapbox · 27/11/2006 15:30

Sam, don't think she'll worry about helping you out on that score - plus it will stop her emailing me every 2 secs giving me more things to do! hahaha Seriously - send her an email - i'm sure she'll be able to help.

sam27 · 27/11/2006 15:46

Thanks Sisterofsoapbox! I have done it! Entirely your responsibility now if that's the straw that breaks the camels' back!!! Not that I'm saying your sister is a camel!!! ha ha!

All this early Xmas cheer is sending me loopy!

Sender4PT · 27/11/2006 15:50

Thank you for the pictures- they are gorgeous and the family were all huddled round the PC going 'oh they are so cute'!

Can you tell me of your daughter would be better off wirh a size 18 -24 months or a 2 - 3, as she looks tall!

Mhamai · 27/11/2006 15:50

SisterofSoapbox, just want to say thankyou for giving me your e mail but I managed to get through to Soapy in the end and have my match.
