Don't look, Reastie. You'll want but your wallet will not be happy with you!

OvO · 14/08/2015 13:23

X-post!

It's too late for me, they're all on my wish list now.

milkmilklemonade12 · 14/08/2015 13:25

The clear ones look cooler than the solid coloured ones. Trouble is, are we putting adult standards on our DC? Like because we think they're great; they might not. And then that's £40 down the drain although I've done worse

OvO · 14/08/2015 13:30

The clear ones are my favourites, just look so luffly as well as fun.

I'm going to wait and see if your DS likes his for his birthday before I buy, milk. Xmas Grin

Though mine love Lego and making random stuff from cardboard boxes so can't imagine they would love these. And if they don't then I can have them!

Rugbylovingmum · 14/08/2015 13:37

I just noticed on another thread that the NERF Rebelle Heartbreaker Bow is down to £7.46 on amazon just now (free delivery with prime).

I have no idea what these are but I know my friend was looking for one for her DD and was trying to find it under £10 so assume this is a good price. Hope it helps someone.

MerryHippogriffs · 14/08/2015 13:45

^ it is a very good price ^

Camel Camel thingie shows it has never gone below £11.00

Whatabout · 14/08/2015 13:48

Marking my place! I have bought some porcelain painters with the idea that I can make some presents for people to save money. I've spent about £30 on six of them, so if I can make presents for ten people using ikea for the plates etc I'll be happy.

Whatabout · 14/08/2015 13:49

I've just bought the crossbow thing for my niece, she's 7 so I hope it'll be appropriate.

Reastie · 14/08/2015 14:09

Would that crossbow thing be good for a 9/10 year old or too young?

EaglesNest · 14/08/2015 14:48

I don't understand the nerf thing. Do they just fire the darts around indoors?

Mine would just annoy each other firing them at one another all the time.

PamelaEwing · 14/08/2015 14:58

Ooh! TU at Sainsbury's just launched their online clothing store. Not sure if the 25% sales will apply online as well as instore, guess we'll have to just wait and see Grin

Will be handy for school uniform and dressing up costumes, can never get the right size school tights instore.

NotSayingImBatman · 14/08/2015 15:03

Pamela, I shopped using the TU pilot and unless I'm very much mistaken the 25% events and any sale prices were applied online as well as instore.

WocketInMyPocket2 · 14/08/2015 15:38

DoItTooJulia · 14/08/2015 15:42

I'm in!

Shopping my for an almost three year old and an almost eleven year old (boys) here!

Thanks to those that do these threads. Flowers

MerryHippogriffs · 14/08/2015 15:52

I think Nerf Rebelle is for 8+, so fine for 9 / 10 year old, and for (7 year old too I'm sure). The reviews say they need a bit of strength to pull back far enough for a good shot. It's for outdoor use really, although the darts are soft so probably can't do too much damage in the house.

Worth a punt at that price, anyway :D

Whatabout · 14/08/2015 16:44

I've used the tu pilot site too and 25% was always on there too. Thanks for the prompt, due another baby in three weeks so can get some basics.

Great to see that TU are finally online - I keep finding things I like then they're out of stock in my size.

Anybody doing beauty type hampers or wanting beauty things to pop in stockings etc, poundshop.com have some Revlon nail varnishes, eyeliners and other bits and bobs for a pound each, there's also OPI, Jessica, Bourjois stuff and more.

Postage is free if you spend over £30, before that there's a sliding scale of £1-£3 depending on amount spent.

Worth signing up for their newsletter as it has offers in and there was a pop up that offered me 5% off for my first order.

I've just been looking at other stuff they have - it includes vaseline little tins of lip salve, Johnsons baby lotion, plenty of stuff to look through that could be added to stockings for kids. Some brand name stuff, some strange brands that look cheap but they seemed easily avoided!

Missymoomoo1979 · 14/08/2015 17:16

Going to join in, have no bargains to add but I've been on Amazon and my wish list is full of Minecraft.

I'm buying for Ds1 19, Ds2 9, Dd1 7 and Dd2 she'll be 1 1/2

Boutonneux · 14/08/2015 17:21

I've been lurking on this Christmas section for the last couple of weeks. Nice to see so many other fellow Christmas planners Grin All my friends and family think I'm bonkers and tell me to shush if I try to discuss anything festive related Sad But it's okay now, I am among my people here...

Couple of things I've bought this week, might be of use to someone:

James Bond 50th Anniversary Monopoly reduced to £19.99 from £55.45: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007VM2H60?keywords=monopoly&qid=1439568758&ref_=sr_1_8&sr=8-8

Lego hardback Play Book (lots of lego ideas) reduced to £3.00 from £16.99:
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1409327515?keywords=lego%20book&qid=1439568785&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

For those of you who are interested in Amazon Prime, you do know you can get a month's free trial right? Smile You must remember to cancel it before the month is up though as they automatically take the payment in full if you don't. Plus... ... if you have more than one email address there's nothing to stop you doing more than one trial Wink

PamelaEwing · 14/08/2015 17:29

Asda direct have the Playmobil Pirates Carry Case half price at £4.95 at the mo. It's a hard case with a couple of figures and accessories in. Great value at this price and great for the present drawer!

peppapissinpig · 14/08/2015 18:52

found you!

issynoho · 14/08/2015 19:27

Loads of reduced Playmobil at www.toysrus.co.uk - search 'playmobil' - some available for delivery including half price police, fairy and dragon advent calendars (!) And some click and collect but with variable local availability. I got Christmas room and Santa.

I'm telling you lot so you will buy up the advent calendars and stop me buying them!
