showgirl The gloves came in a set from a friend but have seen similar on aliexpress v cheap. They are pale blue like Elsa's other dress not the darker teal of the coronation dress but I imagine dd won't mind.

If you search 'Elsa gold tiara' aliexpress has the coronation one on a haircomb.

Reastie · 13/08/2015 13:42

Are we ok on this thread until we use it up or do people want me to start a new one with the info on second post? I'm happy here, but if people want it with the op list at the second post will create a new one tonight.

SideOrderofChips · 13/08/2015 14:13

Its up to you? Might as well leave this up.

Yay, thread 1! Thanks SideOrder & Reastie. I was lurking on the prequel Smile

I think this thread will be fine. The links are near the bottom of the page, it's not like people have too far to scroll and I'm sure they'll just be very grateful to have the links at all.

AnOddOod Sainsbury's has a lovely Cinderella dress. We've had a few dress up things from there and they last quite well. DD is getting one for her birthday next month.

I'm after the Playmobil Volcano & T-Rex set but don't want to pay current prices. Camel shows it went down to £25 in June , hoping it will go down again before DD's birthday at the end of Sept. The fab thing about this thread is that it really helps me out for her birthday stuff too.

I've been searching for party bag fillers and those flashing LED finger things are still coming up on 'customers also bought'...Grin

This thread is a mess with links that don't work.

ColeslawSandwich · 13/08/2015 17:05

PlayingHouse this isn't actually a "paid for" service. It's actually people taking time out of their own day to try to help others.

SideOrderofChips · 13/08/2015 17:23

Oh im so very sorry PlayingHouse that this isn't up to your high standard.

Thankfully no one else seems to have an issue.

No shit Sherlock Wink

I was asked my opinion . I gave it. No one has to listen to it.

Doesn't change the fact that this thread is a mess. Broken and outdated links all over the place. I always thought the point of the thread was to help people source bargains easily.

By all means leave it in chaos if that is no longer the aim of the thread.

PlayingHouse · 13/08/2015 17:30

Maybe we should spend the rest of the thread calling for wait monkey to end the thread just like old times.

Get rid of this thread quickly and pretend it never happened.

HermioneWeasley · 13/08/2015 17:30

Woah, playinghouse you are completely out of order.

sideorder thanks for setting up a new thread

ncterrornc · 13/08/2015 17:32

I vote new thread!

PlayingHouse · 13/08/2015 17:34

I think instead of kissing chips arse. We should just be honest.

Leave the threads to Reastie or someone who knows what they are doing.

Unless we are going to live like this till Christmas?

Can you imagine the chaos. Every second person asking for the same thing as the person before because no one can find anything and the links don't work.

PlayingHouse · 13/08/2015 17:37

To be fair, I use Netmums, HUKD, play pennies and a million fb sites so if this is chaos it won't affect me too much.

The ones that will be affected will be those who don't have time to trawl through a heap of dross to find the bargains they need.

xalyssx · 13/08/2015 17:39

I personally double checked the links and they all worked before posting. I have no idea why they aren't any more Confused

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 13/08/2015 17:40

It's just the opening post that has broken links and it's only the first thread so bound to be teething problems.
Those links are last years, I wouldn't expect all of them to work. Seems daft to start a whole new one, the next thread will more than likely have an updated list anyway as this one gets filled (hopefully!) with more bargains

stacysmom · 13/08/2015 17:47

Found you! I thought I'd killed the prequel thread!

Mipe · 13/08/2015 17:49

I am quite happy with the thread as it is Smile.

The Book People have some good deals on their Book Deals app, I can't link from it but if you download the app they have a Peppa Pig bundle with 10 books in a bag and a hand puppet for £15 (free delivery) and also a Star Wars 8 book
Bundle for £11 that looks good Smile.

FunHouseGrandPrix · 13/08/2015 18:00

I am happy with the thread how it is. It's no big deal with me if a link doesn't work as it normally only takes seconds to google it anyway. I appreciate anyone taking time to post bargains Xmas Smile

candykane25 · 13/08/2015 18:19

First rule of Christmas Bargain thread... We don't argue here HO HO HO!!!
This thread is great Chips, i appreciate the work you have put into it - and Reastie - i wouldn't want to take responsibility for an undertaking like this so i am extremely grateful you two do!
We will be reminiscing about the broken links come December - i wonder how many threads we will get this year?
Tis the season to be jolly tra la la la la la laaaaaa Smile

ColeslawSandwich · 13/08/2015 18:26

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the Amazon activity books offer. I ordered £60 of books for £20 Smile

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 13/08/2015 18:28

Dramas in thread 1. Who knew it would happen so soon Confused
I think it's fine, but I've been on these for a few years and won't be using the old links.

Moreshabbythanchic · 13/08/2015 18:46

I've just ordered loads of stuff thanks to this thread so I'm happy. Thanks for starting it OP Grin

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 13/08/2015 18:46

Seems to be some good stuff on the Entertainer "under £15" section here including a paint your own Elsa, create your own fairy lights and a really sweet hook a duck set all for £5 each

SideOrderofChips · 13/08/2015 19:01

I did some of the threads last year as well when Reastie was offline. this is the first time i've had issues with the links. I thought it had it working as well.

Very sorry if anyone else is upset by my mess of a thread. I can ask HQ to pull it if you all want and get Reastie to redo it
