If your dd is 5 or 6... what's her main present going to be?

I was going to buy dd1 a digital camera, but have changed my mind now.

Can't think what to get her now.

She wants a sticker maker and "surprises".

She has a bike and a doll's house and all sorts of other toys, but she's not actually that bothered with toys, is more into crafty things after school.

Any good suggestions?

As it is her birthday soon dd1 will get either a typewriter or a furreal cat oh and some wellies

hovely · 15/11/2006 20:32

DD's 5th birthday is imminent and she will be getting:
from us - a watch and a pop-up princess tent
from DS - a fur-real baby leopard

At Christmas time she will get:
from FC - swingball and a small wooden tuneable guitar (£15 not the kind from proper music shops)
from DS - perhaps a gears kit.

She would be getting a micro scooter but will inherit a barbie 2 wheeler from a cousin, otherwise the scooter would be the main pressie.

Have also suggested to grandparents the following things:dressing-table mirror or a 'princess' bed drape; and she will be getting a wormery and a 'Kitchen Discovery' experiment set and Bella Tap-Toes for her birthday from family.

DD will be 5 next Wednesday (22nd) and we have got her

this

There are three sets of dolls but they have only shown two.

My dd will be 5 on xmas eve. For her birthday we have got her a pink cd player (she loves dancing and listening to stories on cd) and a flashing heart shaped light, a bit like a disco ball.

For xmas we have got her this I hope she likes it, it looked good in the shop and was for her age group.. She plays a few games on this PC but I's like her to learn mouse control etc so this will be good for her That is her main present.

I'm sure it is available in kits.

NorksBride · 17/11/2006 00:41

Her main present is the Playmobil Viking Longboat and the green dragon/Nessie that goes with it. WIth motors so she can sail them around bath, pool etc.

For her birthday last month, we bought her a real tent with lots of accessories.

She's not totally a tomboy, she's getting ballet kit from an aunt, but she finds dolls a 5-minute wonder.

Bumping to get more suggestions please....

littlerach · 29/11/2006 12:55

DD1 is 5 and would like a Playmobil car or caravan. This was a suprise to me, as she used to say they were boyish. I htink that she likes less girly bits now.
i have also got her some walkie talkies, for both of them, a game, some books and lots of arty bits.
She does like Polly Pocket.

julienetmum · 29/11/2006 13:02

Dd is 5 and we are buying her a lumisketcher.

She will also get a Vsmile shared between her and her 3 year old brother.

mummycan · 29/11/2006 16:47

DD would like a Playmobil Zoo - but we have no space!

Enid · 29/11/2006 16:52

dd1 was 6 just before xmas last year

I bought her a HUGE pink unicorn from wilkos (pphs recommendation) it was the most fantastic hit and she still loves it

Enid · 29/11/2006 16:52

it cost about £35

and is about five feet long

Kelly1978 · 29/11/2006 16:57

my dd keeps lookign at pink unicorns for some reason. I jsut imagined it would be one of those things that would get stuck int he back of the cupboard. Maybe I will have to look for one. She is getting a doll's house this year for her main present.

TeeCee · 29/11/2006 17:01

Her main present isn't from me and it's a shared present with her sister for their birthdays and Xmas - it's a playhouse for the garden.

I've bought a little pink xmas tree to go out there, hanging icicle lights all round it, hanging Charlie & Lola postcards in frames etc etc. It's from her nana & Grandpa. My sister bought them the John Lewis tefal kitchen to go in it.

Their main present from me ispropbaly the mohaor cat I bought them.
Dunno, I've bough lots of bits and pieces as the main one is so big.

They both have a birthday a week befoer Xmas so I'm not sure what present is for what yet!
