This is for everyone who might feel a bit lonely this Christmas - whether you're with 20 people or you won't see another soul until it's all over, this is for you.

So come in, pull up a chair, open the mince pies and enjoy some mulled wine.

Just finished dinner here. My pork belly crackled fabulously, which was my only worry about things going wrong. Used a hairdryer on the skin before cooking Smile

Having my first glass of wine, watching Game of Thrones from the start, cat snoozing on my feet, cake later.

I live pork belly! That was a good choice. I have a cat asleep at a 45% angle on the sofa but he seems happy.

I'm watching Big, which I've never seen before. It's ok...

I'm home and it feels like I'm alone DS2 is upstairs playing his new xbox game and DS1 is out at a party.

We had a lovely Xmas dinner, roast beef and turkey and all the trimmings, then trifle, mine pies, more trifle and more mince pies, I can barely move tbh Xmas Grin

Hope you've all had a lovely day.

That dinner sounds wonderful. I'm pretty sure I had eaten my weight in mince pies before the 20th December so have avoided them today!

That does sound like a lovely dinner. I'm lazing upstairs at my mum's after a huge Turkey dinner.

Hi all. Feeling a bit down today. My parents have been staying with me for the last 2 weeks and have had to go back home today. They live 4 hours drive away and I won't be seeing them for quite some time now. Probably months. Plus my ex who i invited over yesterday morning to see our LG open our presents made it all about him barely letting me spend any time with her as she played with her new toys. Fed up is not the word :-(

CaulkheadUpNorth · 26/12/2014 14:51

That sounds tough. Can you do something nice with your dd to make yourself feel a bit better? Or something to look forward to?

How are you doing Derek?
