What colour is your hair now, caulk?

Well, parts of it are brown, parts are very light yellow and parts are brassy blonde. It's hideous and I'm hoping to get rid of the brightness of it all.

Having Chinese here. Got DD's Christmas pj's ready and then she will be in bed.

I'm about to put that on on +1. If it has Marie from Birmingham on I know her, she lives very close and my friend is teacher to one of her children.

I know you were all on tenterhooks, but I'm sad to announce that the hair has not improved following the colour stripper.

I'm waiting on DS1 coming home as its our tradition that I leave out the presents on the chairs when they are upstairs, this year is the first Ive had to wait on DS though, he's coming home at 9pm. I'm sipping Pepsi and watching soaps. Dinner at Mums tomorrow.

Not lonely, but a bit homesick. We're 5000 miles away from our families. I think we'll pull it together and have decent little Christmas, but I'd much rather be at my Inlaws back in the UK. I miss mince pies (unheard of here), John Lewis and the broadcast carol service on Radio 4.

Watching shrek 2 from yesterday and drinking mulled wine.

Mrsf - is it possible to listen online? Not sure how possible that is (can't remember bbc abroad rules).

I'm lonely. DH is in the pub, ds is in bed and all my family are together at my nan's and I wish I was there too. Heading down tomorrow morning so can't complain too much but I've been really ill since Saturday and that combined with Christmas really makes me want my parents looking after me!

Just back from the park, which was fairly busy with dog walkers and runners.

Time to get some breakfast on after I've showered. Going to be wearing my Hobbs sale find today, love it.

I've been to church this morning (technically work) and now making some coffee.

I walked past the neighbours and their child has an electronic car, an Audi. He is about 2 and looked incredibly cute in it

My cat has just licked the chocolate I had stupidly left open on a chair. Grrr.

How everyone doing? I'm spreading Christmas present opening out, and Worlds Neediest Cat is doing very well at making sure I don't sit down for longer than ten minutes!

Happy Christmas! I am by myself with 2yo DS who is asleep. Some of my family are supposed to be coming for lunch but no sign yet....!
