Dd has just asked FC for a frozen doctors kit. They don't even exist! She also keeps asking for frozen dolls but she never actually plays with barbie type dolls so she won't be getting any...

My dd 10 has asked for one of those bubble gum machines.
I don't mind a bit of chewing gum and I know she is responsible with it, but have visions of that horrible tasting stuff all over her room.
So I didn't get it, and I don't feel a bit bad because its vile stuff.

DS has asked and asked for Disney Infinity, so it's wrapped and ready to go. Yesterday he said Disney Infinity looks rubbish and Skylanders is way better... :(

He's better change is tune come Xmas morning or I am having a strop!

He did get the silver remote control car he asked Santa for though! Can't wait to see his face.

DD really loves monster high and she has one doll. DH found another one on sale in tesco months ago and got it to put away for Xmas. Then unfortunately far too close to change it DD said she really wanted Frankie or Clawdeen.

So I tried to subtly talk about Elissabat so she would get excited about that character and not be disappointed.

It backfired - apparently she said to DH yesterday "mummy keeps talking about elissabat, I think she really likes her, do you think she will get one for Xmas?"

Ha, if I'm lucky she might offer to share I'm hoping she will be excited to just have another doll. That and the fact that apparently draculaura (the doll she already has) and Elissa are best friends, or something. DS is giving it to her and she chose a boy one for him as he's decided he likes them too. Personally I can't stand the bloody things :o

I already know what DD has chosen for me - the piano solo book from Frozen which I am really excited about! So thankfully it was too late for her to buy me a doll.

DH scared me though when he told me what she said yesterday - we were generally chatting about Xmas presents and he said "oh, DD's worked it all out BTW" - I thought he meant that she'd stopped believing in Santa

DS's list changes daily according to whatever's been advertised on Cartoon Network. Today he asked for all the Minecraft Lego sets that he isn't getting (he is getting 2, but none of the ones listed as of 8am this morning.) He also wants Terraria now and Terraria figures. Terraria missed a trick not advertising in our house a month or so back when I might have considered it.

Maybe the solution to this is Netflix for the season (no advertising)?

dd asked for a soft toy snivy from pokemon... cant find any for a reasonable price so she has talking pikachu (£1 from charity shop) and a snivy figure...

kinky it may seem like a brilliant plan to get netflix except they may get obsessed with a program u cant buy merchandise for anymore - like dd and pokemon otherwise its brilliant we love it and no longer have a TV license just that and catch up. so fAR ive watched Buffy, vampire diaries, breaking bad, the inbetweeners, Friday night dinner and currently working my way through house!! next on my list is Dexter

DS asked for a PS3 when what he really wants is a PS4. He knows money is a bit tight, but I think he's also hoping for a Christmas miracle!

We got a local japanese anime imports shop and it is absolutely stuffed with pokemon merchandise. There was a lovely snivy cuddly in there in Saturday (DS2 was very interested). DS2 is getting a palchia dangler and a mystery pokeball thing with some kind of pokemon inside it in his stocking.

BTW: you don't need netflix to watch pokemon. There's a free pokemon tv app that has gazillions of episodes from pretty much all the series. Not that that will help with the elusive merchandise problem.
