She's getting a telly as her main gift.

Then books and films she asked for ( that was all she had on her Xmas list) some Lush bath bombs, some wellies with dog paw prints, a board game, a 2000 piece jigsaw, gloves, Xmas socks, trainers,

YorkshireAtHeart · 20/12/2014 19:50

I really don't see why the OP is getting such a hard time and having to justify her choices Confused. Some people clearly have an agenda / axe to grind.

Corygal · 20/12/2014 20:00

Marc Jacobs daisy is 20 quid in TK Maxx and online.

YorkshireAtHeart · 20/12/2014 20:37

DD (10) is getting a Nike-via-NAP style outfit: trainers, socks, leggings, t-shirt, hoody and speakers so she can trail her über fit brother running round the park in appropriate style.

YorkshireAtHeart · 20/12/2014 21:06

My DD is 19. She has four presents costing about £220. We have spent £300 on DS (too much in my opinion although he has contributed to the main present) which is four presents so will give her the balance in cash as she loves shopping and she will be like pig in shit during the sales.

I do do stockings but they will come to about £20 tops but this will involve cheap DVD, sweets and bubble bath.

TheWordFactory · 21/12/2014 08:54

I posted mid sentence last night. Doh!

A few other bits that might give you ideas OP;

A calendar with dogs on it, a mug with a robin (We have a returning one who is very territorial of the trees nearest our house and often sits watching our front door).

An electric toothbrush and toothpaste ( she's just had her braces off).

TheWordFactory · 21/12/2014 09:00

We have spent about £200 excluding the telly.

We've excluded that as she hasn't asked for it at any point, but I've noticed that when her many friends come over they commandeer both the telly and the room it's in.

This will allow me to put them in DDs room which will allow the rest of us to sit in comfort should we wish to do so Grin. Ie it's a gift for us!

minxthemanx · 21/12/2014 09:07

YorkshireAtHeart · 21/12/2014 13:34

Thankyou trip
