I'm still struggling for ideas & dp hasn't a clue either.

She doesn't really do fancy food, or nice stuff she saves 'for best' so it doesn't get used.

Best I've come up with so far is some sort of soap trivia or quiz book...

Inspire me

Slippers and socks
Maybe a box of chocs too

I don't mind the shopping really, I enjoy the run up to Christmas (an rather enjoying sewing again though so obvs shopping for any bits and bobs for that would be preferable ).

It's just the lack of doing anything or going anywhere make some folks hard to buy for...there's just nothing to inspire me!

She mentioned needing a new hair dryer.
She also desperately (!) needs some decent wine glasses, as hers are the size of a thimble and I she can't get a decent drink

She's quite easy to buy for as she does have hobbies

My own DM on the other hand....she just doesn't really do anything.

I see your's doesn't enjoy gardening so following may not be too useful, but for my outdoorsy/wildlifey MIL I have got

For my DM

or an electronic photo frame (or whatever it's called) - we gave one to an elderly relative who lives far so missing everyone and wanted photos of kids.

we've been doing photo calendars for years now as well Xenadog, they are always well received so I second your idea. definitely worth doing
