Just bought the hama bucket in the lightning deal - 7 something - and it applied some random extra discount and I paid £5.24 delivered!

I'm looking for some inspiration. I need a gift for a couple. The man is my dp's boss and friend. His wife is having chemo at the moment so I'm struggling to come up with ideas as the usual smellies etc have become a minefield due to her treatment and how her sense of smell has been affected. I'd like something nice for them, it doesn't have to be a joint gift but the budget is £50. Can anyone suggest anything? X

Just received my 8 fake lego minifigures from a Chinese eBay seller. £4.55 inc del for 8 superheroes, and arrived in 16 days. Seller was wuyilian. You have to put them together yourself, sadly wolverine's left arm is missing but DS doesn't know about him, the important ones are all there (hulk, spidey, iron man, hulk, batman, Thor, superman). They are not quite as sturdy feeling as the real ones, but for that price, I'm well pleased.

supermariossister · 22/11/2014 09:51

Just popping on with a gogos update - the lovely admiralcslingeringcorpse has been my personal Christmas fairy and has gone completely out of her way to track some down and send them to me, so I wanted to say a HUGE Flowers and generally pass on the warm fuzzy feeling of lovely MNers helping each other out Smile

Thanks also for the Home Bargains tip-offs, my mum has been on a mission and added to DS's gogo haul.

Now just got the boring grown-ups to finish buying for!

ChocolateWombat · 22/11/2014 10:03

I can't see how to get to lightning deals on amazon - not current ones, only future ones.

Namechange321 · 22/11/2014 11:04

Bit of a strange question but I have just a baby Annabell for dd and now need clothes.

I've heard premature baby clothes fit and are the cheapest option.

Just looked on Asda and it has three different weights; 3lb, 4lb and 5lb. Does anyone know which option I should choose? Confused

Namechange321 · 22/11/2014 11:04

Just bought a baby Annabell, I haven't just had a baby Annabell - that would* be strange! Grin

kiwidreamer · 22/11/2014 11:20

With regards to the Elsa gloves does anyone know if u can get smaller ones, DD is 3.5yrs average size hands for her age and while I know she'd love the idea of the gloves the one size fits all seems like the will, swim on her!

LucyTheValiant · 22/11/2014 11:26

There's currently 25% off at accessorize with Grazia magazine, sorry if it's been posted before.

bettythebuilder · 22/11/2014 11:27

I've had emails galore today with discount codes-

Green and Blacks have 15% off Christmas Gifts with code GANDBSXMAS141 vailid until 30th November

20% off at the Book People this weekend with code TREE20

And I got a huge Handpicked Collection catalogue through the post from The Times (Either H C have a huge advertising budget or they are something to do with The Times because they always have massive ads in the paper!).
There is 20% off with code TIMES+ (exclusively for Times and Sunday Times subscribers, apparently Xmas Smile ) until 22nd December
