The benefit glosses are 6.5 ml each and you get 6 for £9.75 plus postage - I think that's as decent deal?

Waitingonasunnyday · 25/11/2014 12:37

ARGOS REMINDER
If you have a £5 off toy exchange barnado voucher today is the last day they are valid.

In other news my sassy bloom finally turned up, I had a right old palava with them messing me about but finally got refunded for what didn't arrive and everything CANCELLED now and I will never use them again!

The stuff was ok for a £9 present - 4 nice things, but there was an awful lot of crap accompanying it. Sort of like a glorified Bounty Bag.

TheHoundsBitch · 25/11/2014 12:45

Has anyone seen any good deals for a men's leather wallet and men's leather gloves? The wallets in TKMaxx seemed pretty flimsy, even the Ted Baker etc!

Methenyouplus4 · 25/11/2014 12:49

Am I just being daft or did anyone else find nectar thing a nightmare to do? We shipped first (as advised on here), but then half the stuff didn't have price on so hard to remember (should have taken pen and paper). Then didn't know what 'category' some stuff was (eg make you own dog biscuit book set was gift not entertainment (like other books). Then there was giant queue as only one till on customer services issuing vouchers. When finally got to check out, something had gone wrong as still had £60/to pay when, by my calculations, it should have all been covered by vouchers. Also annoying things such as couldn't use £20 voucher for £19.99 toy so had to run round finding another toy costing over a penny to make it up! Tonight I'm returning it all to my much smaller local Saintsbury to try to work out what's gone wrong and refund/ sort as needed before voucher thing ends.Angry

Methenyouplus4 · 25/11/2014 12:50

Shopped not shipped.

Methenyouplus4 · 25/11/2014 12:52

Would have done it then but at this point my toddler was sick of his life and newborn twins were due a feed. Not going to lie, the whole thing was just a stressful mess on.

clr2014 · 25/11/2014 12:53

where is it we should go for bargainous ladies perfume please?

Angry at your converse chat - thats really annoying...

FarOverTheRainbow · 25/11/2014 12:57

Methenyouplus4 I take my hat of to you braving that with a toddler and newborn twins! this should have a high 5 emotion

ipanicked · 25/11/2014 13:10

Just found polar bear nanoblocks in Poundland (like these!) They still have a ton of frozen stuff in stock and some lovely craft things, if anyone needs more stocking fillers

macnab · 25/11/2014 13:13

clr2014 I noticed lots of women's perfume in the 'coming soon' list of lightning deals on Amazon

clr2014 · 25/11/2014 13:15

Elvish · 25/11/2014 13:23

I would like it Fox - and it would stop them arguing over who got the best thing...

WUME · 25/11/2014 13:23

Fox I would grateful for a practical present. Every kid needs a hoody. And my dc like matching as well.

stealthsquiggle · 25/11/2014 13:27

magazines - £15 off when you buy 3 - no idea how bargainacious or otherwise that makes them

here

AshVegas · 25/11/2014 13:28

The Selfridge's Black Friday 20%discount can be accessed in line if you use code SELF14. It's 20% of most things (10% off beauty and fragrance I think)
Doesn't show until you apply the code just before paying

Pigleychez · 25/11/2014 13:28

I need your collective help! I need to get a present for my Auntie and Uncle within the next week as they don't live locally and my mum has just announced that's when they are going up to visit before Xmas.

Any suggestions? They don't really have any hobbies as such and ive done Hampers for about the past 4 years so ideally something different to that??
Budget of about £30ish.

clr2014 · 25/11/2014 13:34

pigleychez what about restaurant vouchers for where they are?

marne2 · 25/11/2014 13:35

Just been RL shopping, couldn't find any frozen bits in poundland.

Boots have a Christmas event tomorrow, spend £50 and get £12 worth of points put on your boots card.

Tescos had big signs out advertising Black Friday, apparently they will have good offers on Friday but not sure what it might be.

Elvish · 25/11/2014 13:38

Pigley do they have any hobbies? You could get something for the garden like a bird table or something for the house like a clock or DAB radio?

Elvish · 25/11/2014 13:40

Oh Marne - I just spent £80 in Boots, how annoying that they didn't mention it - I would have put of my buying until tomorrow Angry

Notso · 25/11/2014 14:01

TheFantasticMrsFox wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Three of my four DC and DH have various coloured GAP hoodies.

I just bought myself a little Black Friday treat of Joseph and Joseph chopping board set for £23. Have wanted it for ages and missed it at this price last year.

meerschweinchen · 25/11/2014 14:02

methen that sounds very stressful! You're a brave lady tackling all that with 3 young children in tow. I have to admit to going when mine were in bed on a sat eve, such is my rock 'n roll life style these days

I knew that I wanted a toy voucher so that made it easier, and I actually got my voucher in advance. I did have problems trying to keep track of my running total, so should have taken a pen and pencil.

One item was cheaper than it said on the shelves, so I too ended up rushing back for something extra to make it up to the full amount.

So, not the easiest process, but at least for me I was on my own and the store was almost empty. I was just really pleaded with my bargains.
Can imagine it was mega difficult for you today though.
