How long do Matalan usually take for their click & collect? I kindly got a code from keepcalm on Tues 11th ( thanks again ! ) and received email confirming order and they will email when ready to collect but nothing since which seems a long time :(

DrankSangriaInThePark · 16/11/2014 20:12

The Isme code thing is 4KN3K I think. At least that's a code I've got written in my little secret book next to the computer with no store name next to it, and I know I wrote the Isme one down!

neddle · 16/11/2014 20:13

I still have elfin codes if anyone needs one.

neddle · 16/11/2014 20:13

Grr!

Elc codes.

sweetkitty · 16/11/2014 20:16

Just marking my place. Bought Awful Auntie for DD1 and a Zelf for DD2 in Asda today.

May have already been posted but when I collected my Very parcels there were some random free samples of femfresh Confused and also some codes for a free graze box. Same codes so not just single use...34TJQY7.

Chocolateteabag · 16/11/2014 20:25

AFreshStart - definitely have a look on Groupon.com and search on their area. Depending on your budget you should be able to find something, and you'll save on postage.

For example there is a cake decorating course in Cincinnati (friend lives there) for $45

Or you could get them a holiday wreath delivered in early Dec for $30?

Chocolateteabag · 16/11/2014 20:27

Wow - we are missing out here in the UK

look what we could buy if we were in the US

Grin if only

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 16/11/2014 20:39

My first Matalan order took 3 days, my second has taken just over a week but has been dispatched according an email earlier. Not the quickest but they do come eventually.

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/11/2014 20:44

ehem, we had one when I was young Grin

Prizepudding · 16/11/2014 20:44

Homebargains have the playmobil city life nursery for £24.99, currently £40 on amazon

Opheliabumps · 16/11/2014 20:44

Just ordered 2 of these silver trinket boxes for presents from my twins to their godmothers:

www.amazon.co.uk/Silver-Heart-Trinket-Box-Pouch/dp/B0050MQSP4/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1416170278&sr=1-1&keywords=silver+heart+trinket+box+pouch

The reviews are really good, will let you know what I think when they arrive.

Neeko · 16/11/2014 20:44

I got a karaoke machine at Costco for £30 a few weeks ago if that's any help to the poster who was looking for one.

admiralcslingeringcorpse · 16/11/2014 20:50

I know a few others were looking for new Christmas trees a few threads back....

Pil kindly went to b&q for me today while I was at work and picked me up this 7ft pine for £25, reduced from £52.

Well chuffed as I always either pay full price and then its discounted or miss these kinds of bargains!

Offer is in store only and "when its gone its gone"

PamelaEwing · 16/11/2014 20:51

neeko I 'tested' that karaoke machine in Costco the other day Blush

If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was really good and a very tempting buy, but DD is just too young....

wibblyjelly · 16/11/2014 20:52

Tits that may have accidentally just been ordered for the wibbly household...Grin

Joycey29 · 16/11/2014 20:54

Thanks drank!

Reastie · 16/11/2014 20:56

Drank ahh you see I can't use Neils Yard Frankincense moisteriser as it reacts with my skin, and the scent of the marine cream sounds like it may well be too perfumed for me :( I might have to get it anyway to test

Eek, after thinking it was just going to be DH, DC and myself this Christmas, we're now having Christmas for 8 and I am in need of ideas for my sister, she's able to spend what she wants and has very nice taste. Help!

Reastie · 16/11/2014 20:58

Oh, isn't there a qvc guarentee where you can try for a month and return if you don't like? Do you think that would work if my skin reacted to the elemis cream, or is that not what it's about?

Started my christmas shopping - think I'm way behind everyone else on this thread.

Just bought a furby boom for my DS, its the holiday jumper limited edition.... Amazon at £32.99

www.amazon.co.uk/Furby-Holiday-Sweater-Limited-Edition/dp/B00CYFGCOW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416171445&sr=8-1&keywords=furby+boom

Chocolateteabag · 16/11/2014 20:58

Ha ha Titsalina - looked at yours quickly and thought it was a lot naughtier than it actually is Xmas Blush

Neeko · 16/11/2014 21:08

Thanks Pamela Grin. I haven't tried it yet though the DDs are going away overnight soon so may give it a whirl! it's a relief to know that it's good.

IAlreadyToldYou · 16/11/2014 21:16

Thank you everyone who answered my wilko questions. I ended up not buying either. I was dithering over the castle - it looks fab, especially for the price, but I couldn't see from the picture on the box whether it opens up or the child has to kind of lean over the castle walls to play with their characters inside it, if that makes sense. If anyone has the castle, how easy is it to play with?
