wrt metal water bottles - did you know that it is actually recommended that you use metal and not plastic for re-usable bottles? For the same reason, you shouldn't re-use coke etc bottles?

It annoys me that the shops sell thousands of plastic ones, when they have been shown to be unhealthy. (for the life of me I can't remember why)

Steppemum, you've probably remembered the rumour that they cause cancer? - which is a myth. A BPA free one wouldn't have the supposed cancer causing chemicals in anyway. Something like a sistema one should be fine (£3? in morrisons/on amazon)

Aldi have (or at least mine did last week) big metal water bottles with a cage to attach to a bike for £1.99 also. Available in black, red and blue. They also had lots of other barganious cycling stuff if anyone's after any.

I've seen all of these Frozen carrying cases here and here in a local shop window on my high street. I think the most expensive one is £8.99 so a fraction of the Amazon cost. Was thinking of grabbing one and doing a sort of vanity type box with all her junky jewellery, hair accessories, tissues and makeup bits inside.

Her Barbie Dream House showed up yesterday. It's nearly the same size as my damn bed. It was fun trying to hide that last night

I collected ds' lego from Tesco last nite. Benny's spaceship - free with club card boost. Had to put it in my bed to hide it. Scared myself to death when I got in last night and bumped into large cardboard box!

If anyone has a John Lewis loyalty card you should have had a voucher in the post with an option of free drink/cake in their cafe during December or a free tote bag. Has anyone ever booked one of the under 18 driving lessons? DS is 12 and LOVES cars. Groupon have a deal, 1hr lesson for £28 but I have a £10 off groupon voucher to use too making it £18!!!
