nodrama I posted a couple of free delivery codes for the Book People yesterday - SPEND10 and AFTADAH - they should still be working today, but you need to spend at least £10.

Howaboutthisone · 05/11/2014 14:07

Again I can't remember who it was bit the Yankee candle advent calendar is on groupon for £19.99 at the moment.

Notso · 05/11/2014 14:13

Nodramamama DH DD and my three DS's love Batman but I've bought the two youngest way too much already and the older ones are 10 and 14 so too old for it.
I know the littles would love the Batcave though, it's just a shame it's a bit too much to ask anyone else to buy for them either.
If I had finished I would get it but as I have only bought two sets of books for DS1 I have loads left to buy. Frustrating though.

spaghettiarms1 · 05/11/2014 14:14

£21.89 for Imaginext Batcave on Amazon!

spaghettiarms1 · 05/11/2014 14:15

Sorry notso x post rather than me egging you on!

Thank you Linzer, aftadah worked for me but not spend10 weirdly although I spent over £10. Great books anyway and fab to get free delivery.

IAlreadyToldYou · 05/11/2014 14:28

I'm in South Wales marne, how about you? That's a bit naughty of them, if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have even noticed there should've been a card on that page.

marne2 · 05/11/2014 14:30

I'm in the sw ( Dorset ), I thought I was just unlucky so thought I would buy another from another shop but nope, still no card Sad.

kiwidreamer · 05/11/2014 14:32

kiwidreamer · 05/11/2014 14:33

runningincircles · 05/11/2014 14:50

I've just found out the most exciting thing...We are getting a Home Bargains in town in less than 2 weeks! Yay! Now I can get the marvellous stuff you all post.

MrsGannicus · 05/11/2014 14:50

Thanks for the bat cave tip! Couldn't resist at that price.

BadRoly · 05/11/2014 14:50

Thanks Kiwi, the Playmobil Police Advent calender is £13.13 too on Amazon.

I know it's 'cheaper to get them 342 at Argos but only if you need 3...

nodramamama · 05/11/2014 14:55

MrsS your post about the argument between you and your DH re: the snowman loo roll made me Grin as it sounds just like the kind of thing my DH would do.

Like thanks for the waitrose half price crackers tip, will pop in tomorrow.

waithorse · 05/11/2014 15:21

duzzlightyearsmum · 05/11/2014 15:27

I need something for DN, he's just turned 3 and likes Disney Cars, Ben and Holly and Thomas the tank engine. Ideally want to use my club card vouchers and boost them so have £20 to spend. Any ideas?! Xxx

neddle · 05/11/2014 15:33

Anyone tried any Air Hogs with their dc? We just saw an advert for the Roller Copter and ds1 (9) said he wants it. I've been struggling for a main present for him and thought this might be good?

If not, any ideas? He's mad about football but already has a goal, boots , balls etc. I've ordered a shirt with his name on but didn't think that looked enough for a main present. He doesn't really play with toys and isn't great at reading. I'm really stuck for ideas for him Sad.

Elvish · 05/11/2014 15:38

duzzlightly how about this My DCs both love the Take N Play trains, DD has had them since being 2-ish and still plays with them and DS is 20mths and totally obsessed with trains.

If you get something like this you can get more trains for DN at his birthday or suggest to some other adults that might be looking for something to get him for Christmas?

123upthere · 05/11/2014 15:41

Glad you got one to work nodrama; SPEND10 worked for me yesterday (although I thought it was supposed to expire on 31st October) but I hadn't tried AFTADAH.

JingleSpud · 05/11/2014 15:48
