When I'm still sporting my Hallowe'en name too! Feeling very pleased with myself.

Big crisps box, covered in last year's tail end of wrapping paper. It has a dark Chocolate Orange in it Grin

Does anyone else have a Christmas Box?

It currently contains
A large bag of Christmas tree and star shape crisps from m and s
A where's wally advent calendar
A hidden clementine Christmas pudding

I have a Christmas-shelf-in-the-tea-cupboard.

Three bottles of m and s wine, choc tree decorations, two chocolate stirrers for Xmas eve- I think that's all the edibles so far. I have crackers, disposable plates, cups, napkins etc all stashed as well so it looks really full.

I hide things in the wardrobe from my DC (I know that DS is unlikely to raid through my wardrobe now but when he was younger he had no such scruples)

DD on the other hand will be looking through my make-up/earrings/sock drawer for things to borrow so I need to be more careful.

I don't buy sweets in advance, just put them in with my Big Shop (courtesy of my Nectar Points Grin ) .

I love this thread. I have a load of Christmas shelves in the spare room cupboard that no one can get to unless they fight through a jam-packed rail of all my nice but rarely worn going out dresses. So far: crackers (edible), crackers (pulling), twiglets, chocolates and all the stocking presents.

I'm relieved to see that if there's a zombie invasion in the next six weeks and the supermarkets are emptied by looters, the fightback will be headed by all us Christmas hoarders fuelled only by Baileys, chocolate tree decorations and Ritz crackers.

Mine gets stored in a cupboard in garage, so far have after eights, match sticks, boxes of cadburys fingers, pretzels, Doritos and dips, bottles of fizzy. Add a bit each time I do food shop though went over board last year and seemed to still be eating them at end of January calming down this year.
Good idea about foil, and trays think I'll start stashing normal bits as well ready xx

off to write another list :)

I'm going to start stashing more Chrismas goodies I think
And then just before the Christmas food shop I'll produce them all and then dp won't have to buy half the shops worth of treats!

I had a bottle of Baileys but it's almost gone and we ate the box of M&S mince pies before we even got them home.

How do people not eat, drink and be merry early with all the deliciousness around?

The Christmas Box is an emotional barrier. I'd essentially be ruining Christmas if I dipped into it.

SisterMoonshine · 03/11/2014 20:00

I have: quality street, fruit jellies, Baileys, in a cupboard.
12 mince pies so far and a big bag of ice cubes started up in the freezer.
Cake made.
Icing sugar, mincemeat, brandy on the go now

I want a wrapping paper box now though.

mamapain · 03/11/2014 20:08

I have a Christmas Cupboard

Year round it's filled with wrapping paper, cards, ribbons and any potential presents I see. I started adding foo items to it back in July Blush

I have so far:

Musical Biscuit Tin
Homemade Christmas Puddings
Homemade Christmas Caked
Homemade Mincemeat
A metre stick of Smarties
Candy Canes
15 x bags chocolate coins
Advent Calendars x 9
2 packets Marzipan
Apricot Jam
Sloe Gin
Baileys
6 x Prosecco
M&S Christmas Tea
Gingerbread Coffee Syrup
Christmas Cat & Dog Treats

Luckily it's a large cupboard!

bobs123 · 03/11/2014 22:10

ooooh sloe gin....that's the one thing that wouldn't last long here Grin

Can't buy the mince pies yet as too short dated.

However bought stollen, xmas chocolate biccies and the 1st bag of nuts. I also got some Terrys chocolate orange in popping candy and toffee fudge flavour from sainsburgs at the w/e - on offer at £1....all 6 of them Grin

ToodlesMcToodles · 03/11/2014 22:29

I have a fabulous MIL who does us a box. I love her Grin
She doesn't put alcohol in it though so am tempted to go get Baileys from Morrison's this week

TheFantasticMrsFox · 03/11/2014 22:38

I have stashed a shed load of alcohol from DH's prying eyes. It is in the bottom of the spidery cupboard, behind the door that needs the other door to open first and the dishwasher to not be crooked :o
So far I have 14 bottles of beer, 3 bottles of wine and a bottle of fizz camouflaged with IKEA bags :o

ShatnersKaBOOM · 03/11/2014 22:42

Very cunning MrsFox. I wonder if I'm relying on my family's honesty too much.
