lostinfrance. Personally, I'd be inclined to lose the bicycle bell until after 8am.

allhallows · 02/10/2006 20:28

I reserved my cleaner to come on Dec. 22 today. that's their last day before hols. With a houseful of guests, forwarding planning (& freaking out!) is essential.

bubble99 · 02/10/2006 20:28

Foxy. Yes. And the following Monday is an INSET day for us, too.

My MIL has kindly agreed to take the 26th and 27th as days off from work and to have The Bubble Boys for sleep-overs.

allhallows · 02/10/2006 20:29

hatwoman - your stockings are big if you can fit PYJAMAS into them!!!!! (either that or your kids are really really small ... I can't decide ;) )

One of those snow scene things? The ones that are shaken up to release the 'snow?'

I used to love these when I was little. Do they still exist?

foxinsocks · 02/10/2006 20:33

oh good bubble - all ready now! Only a few weeks to go!

Are you, like me, not keen to be woken by a noisy thing at 5am?

I will say this only once

I love Christmas

I am a SAHM this time round so have too much time on my hands

We are a bit skint so forward planning deffo needed.

Now I am glad to see lots of fab suggestions here. Can I add

disposable camera
t-shirts (this only really works for tinies)
Tescos have plastic bead threading sets for £1 atm
Story tapes/cds if you have the cash/big stockings
Shelly (Barbies stocking sized little friend)
Polly Pockets (buy the really old ones from Ebay - they come in tiny little cases)
