Vino. The malibu barbie house was in sainsburys for £50 recently. might be worth ringing a few branches?

ScrabbledLeggsAndToes · 28/10/2014 21:58

Racin-Bycyele Pen-Holder Construction Kit (deliberate spelling mistake Smile) £2.99 on Amazon. Would make a fun stocking filler. I bought a couple last Christmas. They have other themes too.

Also not exactly a bargain but in H Samuels they had some soft, cuddly, white teddy bears for £9.99, and all profits were going to a Children's cancer charity. I thought it might make a nice, charitable gift that a little one might enjoy - a bit nicer for them than an Oxfam goat perhaps Smile. They were wearing little scarves and hats and looked rather cute.

I'm really struggling to buy anything for dh this year, he's 25 and not into much.. Go?! Confused

Notso · 28/10/2014 22:07

Just bought my two youngest the Melissa and Doug Top This dressing up hat box set for £16.29 on Amazon, you need to look in other sellers.
Had my eye on it for ages and it's the lowest I've seen it.

2kidsintow · 28/10/2014 22:08

Luckily for me, the laptop that we missed has been replaced with one the same price and practically the same specs. We've been out to purchase it so that's DD1's Christmas and Birthday (Feb) gift sorted. She has plenty of bits and pieces to open too. :)

GerbilsAteMyCat · 28/10/2014 22:16

Don't despair Boden voucherless people. I got a 15£ one today.

itwillbecold · 28/10/2014 22:29

snappybadger I have joined in the activity of the evening and pulled out the Disney DVDs. Wishing I could open the ones I have for gifts too. I have also downloaded a free FROZEN activity pack from the Disney rewards website :)

Limbinthesup · 28/10/2014 22:31

Not a massive bargain but Monsoon are having a flash sale on their knitwear tonight until 8am tomorrow - 20% off online.

Limbinthesup · 28/10/2014 22:32

Having put that (as it said in my email from them) on their website it says it goes on until Sunday Hmm, so not quite so 'flash'

snappybadger · 28/10/2014 22:52

Glad to have helped wrt the Disney move rewards! It's quite brilliant isn't it...usually these things where you collect points you need like a gazillion to ever claim any reward, but with the Disney ones you can quite quickly rack them up. And best of all when you order your free DVD as a reward, you get another 100 points towards the next free one!!

upandawayy · 28/10/2014 22:56

Lamaze Freddie the Firefly less than six quid on amazon. Not sure I've ever seen it this cheap

upandawayy · 28/10/2014 23:03

Now I've been checked there's lots of Lamaze toys for around the £5.99 mark on amazon but the offer ends in an hour.

BadtzMaru · 28/10/2014 23:23

PinkAndBlue my DH is awkward to buy for too, I'm making him up a box of treats, so a couple of bottles of nice beer, some bags of sweets and a DVD (probably Guardians of the Galaxy as it's out soon).

306235388 · 29/10/2014 00:09

Dd has just turned 4 and recently got a crappy thin plastic pretend iPhone with a magazine - she LOVES it. Is there one around that's a bit sturdier and very cheap? Had a look on amazon but nothing quite right. It keeps her quiet for ages - this is unheard of!! Well, when I say quiet I mean talking constantly but not to me - Grin

IHeartKingThistle · 29/10/2014 02:08

Don't know if this is any good to anyone but Yellow Moon sent me the code YEM447 for £5 off £35. I assume it's single use and it needs to be used tomorrow! Hope it's not linked to my email but I doubt it.

SweetPeaPods · 29/10/2014 04:55

Little tykes do a toy iPhone. Sainsburys do one too.

LinzerTorte · 29/10/2014 05:01

Pamela Yes, the Book People have delivered worldwide for a little while now, but have you seen their international delivery rates? They start at £4 per item - possibly OK if you're buying just one or two bargainous sets, but much more than that and the postage gets ridiculous.

LEKent · 29/10/2014 06:21

Pamela The Book Depository offer free worldwide delivery. I was impressed with them last time we use them.

Dug out the 8 Disney dvds that have been bought in the last last and my two year old seems to have destroyed all the leaflets. Except in one that wasn't even open. Take it there's no way to contact them begging for new ones? Wink

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 29/10/2014 06:28

Ty to whoever mentioned the pj's in primark

Did you notice if the were available in age 2 to atleast 7?

Unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to get there til mid Nov! But atleast I know somewhere has some!

The entertainer have some good bit reduced for stocking fillers etc lots of crayons sets and things

Shamazeballs · 29/10/2014 06:35

My clubcard vouchers are burning a hole in my pocket. I need one more present for DS2 (14 months). I like the look of the Playmobil 123 Noah's ark and the zoo but which one do you all think is best?

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 29/10/2014 06:39

Mine Lasted about an hour.......

We have a fisher price noahs are that dd 18 months loves. Saying that she loves all toy animals

She has recently inherited older dcs schleich collection which she adores too

SolomanDaisy · 29/10/2014 06:55

The Primark pyjamas, yes, they had age 2-3 up to age 6-7. They might have them in bigger and smaller sizes too, but I was in the younger boys section. I think I've read that they sell out of their 'Xmas pyjamas' quite quickly, so you might need to get there earlier than mid November!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 29/10/2014 06:59

Oh no! Hmmm I wonder if i can drag all my dc there this wkend
