Kav nectar points double up starts on Nov 19th. Info HERE.

GerrardWinstanley · 28/10/2014 14:58

Mothercare have an up to 50% toy sale on from today. Though hardly anything seems to have as big a discount as that. You have to sign up to be a member of mymothercare to access the sale today. Open to everyone tomorrow. Lots of happyland stuff. Big wooden kitchen reduced from £150 to £100.

I would have told you all this earlier but I got caught in Porngate 2! Shock

SolomanDaisy · 28/10/2014 15:01

primark have red check flannel pyjamas in. I think they're £5 each.

Lolly12 · 28/10/2014 15:01

Popped into TK Maxx yesterday they had quite a few nice toys, including power rangers figures for £4.99. Also saw some Frozen girls pyjamas for £7.99 and saw in the beauty section a nice pack of three Essie nail varnishes for £9.99 which I thought was quite good considering they are usually about £8 each.

Poundland also had some hard back Frozen story books.

ChocolateWombat · 28/10/2014 15:03

Thanks for the tips about Molton Brown and Book people. have had some good bargains.

Am looking for Sylvanians Supermarket and Lego Friends juice Bar - have found 20% discounts but wonder if anyone has seen a better deal please?

And I haven't received the boden £15 off, so if anyone has one and isn't planning to use it, I'd be very grateful of it. Thanks!

Here's my big Marks and Spencer saving tip which I have used all year.....buy whatever you want, whenever you need it at full price and keep the receipts. Then when there is a 20% off deal (pretty frequently) buy it again. Return the new version, but using the OLD receipt, so you get the full price back. It's a bit time consuming g, but worth it esp if you go there a lot and esp on expensive items. Works very well at this time of year when all receipts allow returns until mid Jan.

ChocolateWombat · 28/10/2014 15:05

So what the M and S thing allows you to do, is buy now, without waiting for deals to come up. This is useful as the good stuff often sells out. You can guarantee there will be a 20% offer pretty frequently, so you'll get your saving then, on the second purchase.

OldRoan · 28/10/2014 15:11

Not sure if this counts as a bargain, and haven't checked thread properly in case already posted, but the Post Office are changing their small parcel sizes.

Might come in useful for posting presents.

margaritasbythesea · 28/10/2014 15:23

Right. Tine for a bug sulk. I never get a boden voucher. It seems people get one when they dont buy anything so I think I will adopt that strategh.Hmm

Waitingonasunnyday · 28/10/2014 15:27

I never get boden vouchers either :( although I did randomly get some nice socks once.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 28/10/2014 15:50

No boden code for me either Sad but I do have a £5 off £30 voucher for Lakeland if anyone wants it.

temporaryusername · 28/10/2014 15:59

I never get a Boden voucher either and haven't bought anything there for ages - perhaps if you disappear for too long they drop you. Well, fine!! Fine! Didn't want one anyway! Halloween Wink

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2014 16:08

Just saw that the lion king is coming back out on 10 November. And on amazon you can preorder as part of the 2for1

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2014 16:09

Oh it's now saying the 2for1 has ended on amazon!

BornToFolk · 28/10/2014 16:16

wildflowers, please may I have your Lakeland code if still available? Not for a Christmas present, I need a heated airer!

AndHarry · 28/10/2014 16:42

I've now had 2 deliveries of Google goggles Confused Completely different packaging each time.

Barbeasty · 28/10/2014 16:53

Girl from what they said in the Disney store that might be when Peter Pan and Cinderella go back in the vault, so if people are after those 2 DVDs I'd get them now.

My local Thorntons store has up to 60% off at the moment. Got the bigger size chocolate reindeer half price at £5 now dad has told us he's staying on Christmas eve so needs stocking bits. Hope the DC don't notice it's bigger than theirs.....

PickledBrains · 28/10/2014 16:54

Been in Asda today and picked up the Peppa Pig phonics reduced from £15 to £10.

And my Google goggles turned up today as well.

Done a stock check on presents and have everything for dd now apart from some pjs and a bluray and nearly everything was a bargain of some sort!

currieaddict · 28/10/2014 17:13

My asda had a load of frozen onesies today. £9.

wibblyjelly · 28/10/2014 17:18

My cardboard goggles have arrived!!!

PamelaEwing · 28/10/2014 17:26

Yes I heard that Cinderella was going back in the vault too Barbeasty so I quickly got one in on the recent BOGOF deal. Also, the cardboard cover/sleeve Disney film DVDs with a plain coloured background and the main character on the front are apparently collectible. Who knew?!

Cobblers Poundland have Frozen wrapping paper, as well as The Works.

RJnomore · 28/10/2014 17:39

Im wrapping as I am unexpectedly at home this evening. And I am having a terrible twitch.

Dd2 has lots of big boxes but I don't feel like I've bought her a proper Xmas present or spent very much - lots of half price dolls for £10 each..

Dd1 has a very small pile but it's cost a fortune.

Please stop me buying things I don't need. I have a list, I must try to stick to it!

Olivo · 28/10/2014 17:53

I would like to simultaneously thank and curse the people who have mentioned the Works. I have discovered that they deliver here and have spent a fortune!some brilliant Frozen bits that I just can't find here- hurray!

Laundryangel · 28/10/2014 18:29

Thanks to whoever mentioned the lightening deals & reminded me of their existence. I had a quick look at lunchtime when a Karcher pressure washer had 40% off. I've been wanting one for ages. Blush Now I just need to persuade my parents that it is acceptable our Xmas present from them.

Badvoc123 · 28/10/2014 18:32

I bought Star Wars mugs for dc and dh in sainsburys earlier.
They had lots of great Star Wars and marvel themed stuff.
Some of the food gifts were lovely too...hummingbird bakery gifts sets etc.
The Lego minecraft is tiny...that's why I didn't go for it :(
Btw...anyone seen a minecraft annual 2015 yet?
My dcs loved their last year but can't find one anywhere!

Badvoc123 · 28/10/2014 18:33

Next have a pack of frozen b day card, wrap and tag on 3 for 2 atm
