So I've almost finished for dd (4) apart from a princess Sofia DVD, maybe a Sofia figure set and a few small things. Oh and I need a cheap bag or similar to put her 'teachers kit' in.

Ds (turning 8) I am stuck for - it's his birthday on 23rd too. Dd has big pile. Ds has small pile, though he's getting goals and golf clubs which are satisfyingly large!

Dh I only have seve DVD, invetweeners 2 DVD and a painting thing. Also his birthday week before Xmas.

So anyone any inspiration??

GerrardWinstanley · 27/10/2014 19:55

I had to have stern words with myself last week in Sainsbos - I was about to buy myself some Christmas knickers. BlushGrin
That promised far more Christmas action than I am prepared to commit to at this stage Wink
They were lovely though

Lots of really lovely Christmassy things coming instore to Lidl as of this Thursday.

Felt advent calendars, decorations, candles, illuminated cottages, lights, giftwrap, ribbons - you name it! Will certainly be popping over there to buy a few bits Smile

online catalogue Christmassy bits pages 22-31

I was told on another thread that any tesco clubcard vouchers that you may be due are being processed now and should show up on your account today.

I was pleased to see that the boost scheme is running again on more products. It was no good for the laptop for DD1, but I got £25 off the 3ds for DD2. AND I remembered to go through topcashback first to get a measly 1.51% back, but it's better than nothing. :)

Notso · 27/10/2014 20:12

Dammit missed the watch set again bloody kids

SpottyTeacakes · 27/10/2014 20:14

We're using our clubcard points to go to drusillas. Zoo, santas grotto, real huskies and a light show all for £6 of clubcard vouchers Smile

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 27/10/2014 20:24

Reastie, I'm exactly the same for dd1 it's beyond a joke now. God knows how i'll disguise it all for the big day BlushGrin.

One DVD from zavvi has arrived, waiting on 'tangled'.
Local poundland was rubbish, nothing of any interest at all Sad.

Isn't it 25% again at sainsburys tomorrow for clothing?

Notso · 27/10/2014 20:29

This is my first year without clubcard points. Morrisons opened 5 mins away so I started shopping there and all my big things from Tesco my sister bought with her staff discount so she got the points Envy

TrisisFour · 27/10/2014 20:32

Looks like most of the xmas things for lidl come in on 3rd november (just got confirmation from my sister). I will have to make sure that my sister is working when I go in to raid their shelves. The staff finally get discount! Smile

MooseyMoo · 27/10/2014 20:36

Yes showme, tomorrow is 25% off TU clothing

PamelaEwing · 27/10/2014 20:36

Ah thanks Trisis I got the date wrong, must be the foods in the catalogue that are available from Thursday and as you say, the Christmassy bits from Monday (which is great as I'll be able to browse without nagging DC's)!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 27/10/2014 20:42

Spotty are you in east Sussex that's where I am from moved to east Midlands 10yrs ago

Huntinghiandlow · 27/10/2014 20:45

Hampers at Smith&kinghorn 2 for 1. That is a bargain. Aha

2kidsintow · 27/10/2014 20:56

Cashback from tesco shows up really quickly in the topcashback account. Quite impressed.

BicycleGasoline · 27/10/2014 20:58

Does anyone know if the toy sale will still be on at sainsburys tomorrow? Could be a bumper trip if both toys and clothes are reduced!

BettyOff · 27/10/2014 20:59

Thanks for the heads up on the Sainsburys clothing sale. I've got my eye on some Christmas PJs, slippers and socks for the family Christmas Eve box.

2kidsintow · 27/10/2014 21:01

Oh, and I got a lovely phone call from a lady at Tunnock's teacakes today to confirm that the best places for me to buy the dark chocolate ones is either Waitrose in Chester or the poundland in Wrexham. We had a long chat about the folly of Morrisons, deciding to stop stocking them in favour of cheaper brands. Lovely lady.

admiralcslingeringcorpse · 27/10/2014 21:07

Did someone say they had a spare elc code? I would be eternally grateful for it if its still available?

Theonlyoneiknow · 27/10/2014 21:14

Does anybody have a pic of what, the lidl market stall looks like?

Notso · 27/10/2014 21:14

Ooh you must live in my neck of the woods 2kidsintow.

WheresTheCoffee · 27/10/2014 21:31

I'm still waiting on my cardboard googles too, I was starting to wonder if there was a problem but I don't feel so bad, now I know I'm not alone!

temporaryusername · 27/10/2014 21:33

2kids I remember the great Tunnocks shortage of 2013, terrible time for me, I eat one daily. Just eaten one actually. Blush. They are quite low calorie!

Chocolateteabag · 27/10/2014 21:57

Evening all

this John Deere Carry Case is down to £15 from £23 on Amazon with free P&P.

dS1 got one when he was 2 and still plays with it coming up to 4. Very useful to have small set of farm toys to take away with us. It has good quality small machines and animals.
