Schuh 15% discount... If you go onto the schuh website and leave a review they email you a discount code a couple of days later. Schuh have an excellent returns policy so I'm delighted to use them again.

I bought my Google cardboard the same time it was first mentioned on this thread and still haven't received it. Is anyone else still waiting. Starting to worry as I really wanted it for dh as he would love it
Tia Thanks

Titsalinabumsquash · 27/10/2014 16:37

I'm still waiting for my google cardboard. I really hope it arrives, DP is a real challenge to buy for and I had hoped they would be something to amuse him for a while at least. Smile

DaisyFlowerChain · 27/10/2014 16:43

Tikkas red football watch set with wallet and white and pink princess set down to £2.22 on Amazon.

Titsalinabumsquash · 27/10/2014 17:04

I just got both my older boys a tamagotchi for 2.99 with free postage from eBay for their stockings.

I remember them being £30+ when they first came out and me begging my DM to get me one, she ended up with a village crèche of them when me and my friends were at school. Grin

Is syon park's trail good? How does it compare with kew (not been to either)

Worth doing both?

BuckskinnedAstronaut · 27/10/2014 17:22

I've never done Kew's trail, but do Syon Park every year (kicks off the festive season). It's not wildly exciting but it looks beautiful lit up and there are some interactive exhibits, and you end up in the glasshouse with a laser display. Kew's does look better but it's also over twice the price (over four times the price if you get the cheap Little Bird deal on Syon Park) and I am stingy.

Notso · 27/10/2014 17:22

I can't find the tikkers watch set for that price Daisy could you link?

AdamantEve · 27/10/2014 17:23

Not a bargain, but I got the H&M Christmas home catalogue through the post today. It has some nice cushions and bits and pieces, also this child/single duvet cover set - not my cup of tea but I'm sure someone else will love it. The Santa cushion on the bed is £7.99 and the Rudolph pillow case is £3.99.

Not sure if this has already been posted but 15% off M&co until 16/11 with DEARSANTA.

wibblyjelly · 27/10/2014 18:05

I'm still waiting for my cardboard googles as well...

Reastie · 27/10/2014 18:08

Went to home bargains today and came back with various random bits. Can someone please stop me buying for DD, I'm worried what DH will say when he sees the amount of stuff she has Blush

Guitarghoul · 27/10/2014 18:15

We have done both Syon park and the kew one, enjoyed the Syon park one although it's not particularly Christmassy, nice lights though. Kew was absolutely rubbish and I would not recommend that to anyone!

LikeSilver · 27/10/2014 18:24

Also still waiting for goggles!

scopeisawesome123 · 27/10/2014 18:35

Glad I'm not alone in waiting for them. It just seemed that everyone was recieving them and that I was the only one who was still waitingknowing my luck they would go missing for me

confusedalways · 27/10/2014 18:45

I was in Primark today and they have advent calendars of jewelry in. Might be good for teenage girls instead of chocolate ones.

Notso · 27/10/2014 18:51

this scoot suitcase seems a good price at £18 as a trunki alternative.

ipswichwitch · 27/10/2014 18:51

So I may have mused out on Jakes pirate ship in lightning deals on amazon, but thanks to the tesco clubcard boost reminders I managed to get it in store for the princely sum of £10 (plus vouchers obv). So I am a happy bunny again :)

escape · 27/10/2014 18:54

Watch sets now £4

candykane25 · 27/10/2014 18:55

I was also in Primark today and got christmas sunglasses for the dinner table on Christmas Day, they have a raindeer, snowman, christmas pudding and Father Christmas, 3 pounds each. And various christmas headbands with deeply boppers and suchlike for 2 pounds. I already have my primark Mrs Claus Christmas jumper which is a sight to behold.
In matalan they had 3 advent duvets on the shelf in the Christmas Shop bit, not the bedding section. I got a red metal bowl with is made of linking Santa clauses, the lovely burlap like sack, and three christmas DVDs for 10 pounds.

Mipe · 27/10/2014 19:22

Scope I ordered 3 pairs of the Google cardboard things and have only received one so far Smile.

Neeko · 27/10/2014 19:26

Reastie. I'm the same. It's like an addiction. Christmas-present-buyers-anonymous. Grin
