ladyGahGah don't know how old DS is, but could he write/ draw his wish himself, seal it in an envelope and then post it to Santa? However, you write Santa's address down on the envelope as a pre-warned friend/ relative's address, who can then hand it over to you when it arrives? Will only work if he's old enough to write/draw it, but not old enough to realise address is not North pole!!

I just bought a Bayer pram (pink one) for £19.99 on Amazon, down from £31.99

According to camelcamelcamel it's the lowest it's ever been and the average price is £30 so very happy with my bargain.

Smile

LadyGahGah could you leave him a card or note from the wish fairy/elf saying that his wish message had got a bit mixed up/garbled/didn't download properly off the Wishnet/etc and could he please re-submit using the attached form - which you make. Get a friend to do the writing bit so he doesn't recognise your writing. Make the form one of those you fold the page in 3 and use a sticker to close it.

Then Don't have any stamps to hand so offer to post it for him or even just get some stamps while he is out - so you can read it before you send it.

If he can't write then you could offer to write the words for him - if he tells them to you one at a time and you're spelling them for him or writing them then you'll know his wish and you could send it by elf post either to the Santa at Lapland post address that the post office use for letters to Santa or by burning in the fireplace/outdoors/etc or whatever way you think would work best.

Hopefully this will set off some ideas of how to extract a wish from a child!

I have sympathy - dais was trying to get birthday present ideas from dn recently and she waved her off with a 'don't worry, the big man always knows what I want, he'll deliver something good'!

Dsis was left trying to explain that Santa doesn't do birthdays wondering how she is going to get Christmas ideas out of her soon!

Just ordered another sassybox, first one was for a 12 month old girl and I've ordered one for a 18 month old boy so waiting to see what they have, they also cancelled the day I asked with no further charges (yet!) so £9 a box

Also just got a box of 4 beers delivered for £4 with code MLVB10 here

jamtoast12 · 25/10/2014 17:10

Hi

Any valid Very codes please? All those listed have expired

waithorse · 25/10/2014 17:23

Marne, there's a few of us waiting on that Lego Friends set dropping in price. Fingers crossed. Smile

jamtoast12 · 25/10/2014 17:27

It's dropping to £58 on amazon every day or so but doesn't stay long. It's £64 on very so I need a code!

306235388 · 25/10/2014 17:34

Ds is turning 8 at Christmas - he's into football, football, and more football.

Any ideas of anything else he might like? He's into Star Wars and Lego but hasn't played much with the toys lately.

IHeartKingThistle · 25/10/2014 17:42

Found the £3.75 Furblings in Tesco, including the rainbow one DD wants. Yay!

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 25/10/2014 17:59

Jamtoast, I can recommend you to Isme if you want? £20 off a £45 spend. It's the same stock as Very. PM me your name & email if you want me too. Happy to recommend anyone, I get £20 back too in theory although it's hard to track (might help shrink my rather large bill as I keep buying nice things).

WildFlowersAttractBees · 25/10/2014 18:02

Tesco had lots of stationary reduced to clear. I got DS a nice avengers pencil case for £1.50. Lots of lunch bags and water bottles too.

jamtoast12 · 25/10/2014 18:05

keepcalm that would be brilliant :) but one question- can I order and pay outright or would I have to open an account?

SweetPeaPods · 25/10/2014 18:06

Tirednow just ordered the beers thank youSmile

IHeartKingThistle · 25/10/2014 18:14

Is it easy to cancel Flavourly? I did it last year but I can't remember!

Just ordered these party dishes for £2.99. Only plastic but look fun!

FlipFlippingFlippers · 25/10/2014 18:29

Thanks tirednow what a bargain. Hope its easy to cancel. The £20 of vouchers will be handy too.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 25/10/2014 18:30

IHeart I had sent you a PM.

Keepcalmanddrinkblood · 25/10/2014 18:32

I think you have to open an account to use any of the codes with Isme or Very, but can cancel them once you get your order and pay it off.

Jenni2legs · 25/10/2014 18:43

tirednow there's another baby box called nonabox, you can get one for half price at the moment - the codes are on their Facebook page.

redkindof · 25/10/2014 18:45

Tangle teezer style great for stocking fillers excellent quality for price bought both dd and my sis, mum last year went down well and I replaced my actual tangle teezer with one and very
similar

IHeartKingThistle · 25/10/2014 18:48

Keepcalm you have to open an account but there is a button for 'pay now in full' when you check out and it will still accept the code, you don't have to get any credit at any point. HTH.
