Mamas and Papas pram in home bargains today for £24.99. We've had a similar one for nearly 7 years now and it's still going strong!

Daisy I was wondering the same thing, but then the loom bands were in Asda so you just never know...
Not sure if I managed to order from Argos - DD jogged me and closed the tab just as paypal was 'thinking' - do they usually send a confirmation email?

Cherrypippin · 25/10/2014 12:39

Trisisfour - I've just bought a double mamas and papas dolls pram on amazon for £20 not sure what size dolls it will fit though. It's navy blue and a 3 wheeler type sorry can't do links.

For those who found the Lego research institute, may I ask where you saw it - was it actually in a Lego shop? Any info gratefully received, thanks

NorksEnormous · 25/10/2014 13:10

Any idea where I can get a beast teddy from beauty and the beast? The only one I can see is only the disney store giant one for £40- really don't want to spend that amount! Looked on Ali express too, they have ones that look rubbish for £20 something- I would rather only pay £15 or less!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 25/10/2014 13:30

So tempted to get the princess castle from argos but dd is only 18 months and Has so many presents already

Littlemousewithcloggson · 25/10/2014 13:40

Daisy - I am not a fussy panicky person. I will eat food (a bit) after the use by date, dont mind a little dirt etc etc BUT, having once seen a documentary on unapproved toys I will not buy my children any Toy without a CE mark on to prove its quality.
The documentary showed material used with carcinogenic properties, poor hygiene and unsafe stuffing (contaminated with chemicals)
Also showed examples of illegal child slave labour - but thats another story!
I am not saying all imported toys are like that, nor am I criticizing anyone who chooses to buy them. I am just saying I wouldnt personally.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 25/10/2014 13:49

on another note - do any of you lovely people know what on earth a "3 cats on a lead, 1 big 2 little toy" is? Its on DDs list and I have never heard of it before. Shes seen in advertised on tv!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 25/10/2014 13:51

Like pull along cats? Three in a row going down in size?

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 25/10/2014 13:52

Although I haven't seen any of these

DaisyFlowerChain · 25/10/2014 13:52

Little mouse, that's my thinking too re the CE mark. DS has to take a donation for school and Olaf is lovely but I can't see if he is safe with the CE mark.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 25/10/2014 13:52

On TV

margaritasbythesea · 25/10/2014 14:00

Your post made ne think of these littlemouse these but they are dogs obviously.

margaritasbythesea · 25/10/2014 14:29

OMG the minion toy dd wants is £45! Much more than I was expecting as I had seen a similar one for £30. If anyone sees a 40cm tslking stuart minion for less than that or knows a Smyths code, could youlet me know please?

(Has heart attack at very non bargainious request from dd even though she has only asked for one thing)

pmcp15 · 25/10/2014 14:33

ladyGahGah · 25/10/2014 14:47

Hi all. Great bargains!
I wondered if anyone can help though? DS has asked for a wish he can't tell me because, then it wouldn't come true which is fair enough. But how to i deliver a wish to him?

Any inspiration would be great!

BuckskinnedAstronaut · 25/10/2014 14:51

ladyGahGah, tell him to write it down and hide it until Christmas Eve, then find it when he's out DS's was under his mattress

LastLight · 25/10/2014 15:03

That's only 20cm though, sorry!

2kidsintow · 25/10/2014 15:03

margaritasbythesea · 25/10/2014 15:25

Thanks lastlight. That had been exactlymy probkem. It can be really difficukt to tell what size they are.

marne2 · 25/10/2014 15:36

Has anyone seen the lego friends mall any cheaper than £64.99 ( smyths price )? Dd2 has decided she needs\wants it for Christmas but was hoping to get it for less than £50 as I have already spent a bit on the other things on her list and she has also asked for quite a few other things, also on her list is a glow inkoo (sp) and Shopkins, I have got a few Shopkins which I have picked up when prices have dropped on Amazon ( thinking that might be plants as the play sets don't look that great ). My plan of not buying 'tat' this year has gone to pot as dd2's list is all tat Sad. Luckily dd1 has asked for non plastic tat items but this is costing me a small fortune Sad.
