MYGIFT gets you £5 off a £30 spend and free delivery at the Book People

TrisisFour · 25/10/2014 09:24

I can't remember who asked about whether the halloween decorations were reduced in tesco, but no, I think it was just the outfits... of course we've all slept since I was in there so it could all be reduced by now. If you buy outfits make sure you check your receipt as they hadn't updated the system so they were coming up as full price, even though they had half price stickers on...

If anyone sees a decent bargainous double pushchair for dolls of up to 50cm, please can you let me know. Preferably a one on top of the other double pushchair not side-...by-side. It needs to be for a 5 year old and a decent one that will last her so I'm thinking a good make... I like the look of the maxi cosy one but there are no straps to hold the dolls in - weird!!

SweetPeaPods · 25/10/2014 09:32

Debenhams have loads of offers on. 20% off nightwear, 25% off coats etc. they also have a lovely elemis gift set in now£50 think it should be £80.

SweetPeaPods · 25/10/2014 09:52

Can anyone recommend anywhere to get some nice photo frames not too expensive? Must be suitable for displaying on wall. I need quite a lot. TIA

WildFlowersAttractBees · 25/10/2014 09:52

Oh lordy, my 'bumpy ring' (not only one) just arrived in the post... it was set off going through the letter box and so bright it could be seen through the padded envelope. The packet was already open but oddly enough no one stole it.... it's a monstrosity!

WildFlowersAttractBees · 25/10/2014 09:54

Sweet pea, TK Max is good for frames if you want a mixture. However if you just want plain frames you can't beat IKEA.

Someone mentioned an Elsa gloves tip from on here on another thread, can someone link it or tell me what it was, please. I've scrolled but can't find it Confused

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 25/10/2014 10:06

I have had a message from the Ebay seller RE: Frozen dresses. They are resending. I really hope they arrive in time.

lucysmam · 25/10/2014 10:06

I found it! Smile

IAmASkeletonLover · 25/10/2014 10:09

I've not been on the past couple of threads, I'm almost done with the shopping but just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for remembering me, thinking of me and getting in tough regarding the lego. You are a lovely bunch of bargain hunters. I am all sorted having snagged a damaged box on ebay for not tooooo much over retail. I was a bit worried that prices would just get higher and higher with time so I got in there quick! Can't wait to see dd's face when she opens it.

Just need to get closer to Christmas for the dcs to send their lists to Father Christmas and I can finish the last few bits and bobs for their stockings now.

Paleontologist with a Halloween name change x

IHeartKingThistles my son is also Hot Wheels mad. I second just getting the track and vice etc. A starter set is a good option if you want it all boxed and nice. There's one in Argos now which has a tower to start different tracks from www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1527135.htm for £16.49 - 25% off.

Also search Youtube for Racegrooves hot wheels reviews. There are hundreds and it keeps my 4yo (and me) occupied for ages.

JuniperTisane · 25/10/2014 10:14

Also, I know its not christmassy, but Wellies & Worms outdoor kids wear has 15% off using KEEPWARM15 plus 5% off for new customers. If you find stuff in the sale it can be up to 46%+15%+5% off and they're good brands too.

Thanks so much for the Disney princess argos link-I've been eyeing it up for ages and have just reserved it!

margaritasbythesea · 25/10/2014 10:56

Are there any discounts that happen annually that people are waiting for, like people were waiting for thecargos 3 for 2?

kids have finally decided on tgheir big presents - a talking minion stuart, the octopod hexbugs and Jelly Fun - and I am wondering the best way to do it.

Neeko · 25/10/2014 11:14

My beer52 arrived this morning. Thanks to the poster who suggested it. Must remember to cancel it this week.

DaisyFlowerChain · 25/10/2014 11:26

Are the Olaf soft toys from Ebay safe for children? After the loom bands thing I am reluctant to purchase toys from anywhere bar main shops.

pigleychez · 25/10/2014 11:46

Matalan have Elsa dresses in stock at the mo for £16.

Badvoc123 · 25/10/2014 11:51

anyone got a very code?

andadietcoke · 25/10/2014 12:05

Thank you so much for the Fisher Price Little People Princess tip. Have been contemplating it for the last few weeks at full price. Think that's the DTs done now. - just need to start on the adults who don't already have stashed Laura Mercier sets/Pandora/dressing gown
