Our tree will be a mish mash of decorations, collected over the years. My most random ones are a rubber duck Sykes decoration, and a jelly fishGrin

I have a sheep with angel wings Grin

frignorant · 18/09/2014 22:41

A miniature Elvis wearing a gold suit.

pieceoftoast · 18/09/2014 22:42

A pair of (connected) grey fluffy balls. We always said they were our old dog's balls (he was grey) after he was neutered. Gross I know. Quite fond of them though. They still go on every year.

CleanHankie · 18/09/2014 22:44

A Rastafarian Santa. Love him

And a yellow NYC cab. Nothing Christmas about it.

dementedma · 18/09/2014 22:45

A Louis Spence type Jeremy Fisher frog in a sparkly top hat and tights!

furcoatbigknickers · 18/09/2014 22:47

A baby born in ... After i accidently shoplifted it when dd a few weeks old

TazTheFairy · 18/09/2014 22:48

Changing my name just to avoid being outed but our fairy is Tazmanian Devil in a biker jacket with angel wings and a halo. Not sure that's the most random though as our tree is a collection of memories from around the world and over the years, it makes us so happy putting it up every year even if we don't have matching baubles!

Tipsykisses · 18/09/2014 22:48

I have loads of randoms on my tree it is full of baubles that are either family related , hand made or from somewhere outside of the uk !

Everyone knows I love my "family tree" , each decoration has a reason or story about it .
My favourites are the paper angels that are 80 odd years old, the turtle from Barbados with bells & a Santa hat & the nativity scene inside a nut shell from the Maldives .

trice · 18/09/2014 22:50

I have a sparkly toadstool that I love and a tiny electric guitar.

Yellow ny taxi and a San Francisco tram on ours, along with lightning McQueen with a Santa hat! The most random I think it's the wooden carved Father Christmas which actually looks like a dangling turd.

Tipsykisses · 18/09/2014 22:54

Taz the dangling turd would go so well with my gimp duck!!!
Where is it from ???

TazTheFairy · 18/09/2014 22:56

Australia that one, we snigger every year when we put it on, dm bought it.

hoobypickypicky · 18/09/2014 23:00

Some stars with the words, "Oh well, here's to absent friends" upon them. The phrase was one my Grandmother used to use as she raised her glass at the beginning of the Christmas meal.

A bird of a specific type. It's also our family name.

A ship, a car, an aeroplane and a bug, all made of mercury glass beads circa 1920/30. Example of the aeroplane

MintChocAddict · 18/09/2014 23:03

A Hawaiian Santa on a surf board complete with yellow flowery board shorts. My favourite. Smile

CointreauVersial · 18/09/2014 23:04

I have a cockle shell covered in Chinese silk. I think it came from the mother of an ex-GF of DB (random...).

MrsMinton · 18/09/2014 23:09

A glittery sheep in flying pose like superman.

TazTheFairy · 18/09/2014 23:09

Oh, and one of the stupid cats usually.

SleeptightDaisy · 18/09/2014 23:09

A felt caterpillar brought back from New York. A waving cat the type you always see in a Chinese takeaway. Also a metal Santa sitting in a byplane.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 18/09/2014 23:12

A tin Mexican Dios del morte mariachi Skelton.

elQuintoConyo · 18/09/2014 23:19

Bacon. Made of felt, obviously.

TheFantasticMrsFox · 19/09/2014 02:36

elvish we have a sheep with angel wings as well :o
We also have a bell made from tin foil and a yoghurt pot I made in my first year at infant school and a Daffy Duck with a Santa hat on which is in no way as great as a gimp duck :o
