As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I am also wary about the quality/ origins of anything from AliExpress. I lived in Asia for three years and ultimately most things which seemed a bargain at the time ended up in the bin as they were either dangerous/defective or both. They you guys post your great finds and I am tempted again. Decisions, decisions Grin

Half price Jack Wills wallet:

Have given the dolls a good sniff and they smell like any other stuffed toy - am not about to start unpicking them to see what's inside mind. They've got four months in the Christmas box to air out and release any secrets they might contain. DD owns a large amount of tat imported stuff due to cheap devoted aunt however, so my sniff-o-meter may be off?

Withmyfeetinthesink · 29/08/2014 13:19

I also got lots of half price Jack Wills after shave, perfume, shower gel in store a couple of days ago - gel was £3, after shave/perfume £19.

My asda elsa dress has arrived instore for me to collect!! And I'm such a mean mummy that I won't go and pick it up yet even though dd is going to a frozen birthday party today!! Having said that, I paid £30 for 2 handmade dresses (one anna and one elsa) for her birthday in june and she hasnt worn the anna one yet, so she's going to be wearing that instead. I think the asda one will fit bettef at xmas anyway Smile.

Different drinks are different sizes, as someone else said, the sizes are on the packet & on the website too I think. The hot chocolates etc would easily fit in a normal mug, if anything there are a small measure. We bought a few large mugs / latte glasses for some of the latte drinks, as they are long and were too big for our regular mugs.

The expresso drinks, are obviously all very small & if you're making up your own latte, as I do, you can just make it to fit the mug.

That would be great, Thank You very much, I'm happy to send you postage. Thanks

The foil packs have a very long shelf life on them. There is supposed to be a shorter life once the packet is open, but to be honest all the discs are sealed too. We usually have a large selection open, so we can pick & chose what we fancy & they sit there for longer than 6 weeks out of the foil pack.

Incidentally, sometimes the discs explode in the foil packs, it's only happened to us once. I contacted Tassimo customer service who were great and sent out a new pack ASAP. The other discs in the exploded pack were all fine, after a quick wipe. We lost one disc & gained a full pack Grin.

That's great to hear scaredycat thank you! X

halestone · 29/08/2014 14:38

Beasty, we got 2 delivered to the same address but one was to me and one was to my Dsis. We both ordered them on separate dates and separate bank cards though.

Barbeasty · 29/08/2014 14:52

Thanks Hales. I did wonder whether to use another card but had read the ts&cs and not spotted that clause! Need to see how much DH wants it for Christmas!

admiralclingus · 29/08/2014 15:03

builders pm me and I will send :) there's 4 left because a few of us have tried them, but I'd rather the remainder get used than go in the bin!

While I'm feeling festive and sending things, I have some moshie monsters trading cards, a planes magic washcloth and a little miss book if anyone would like them? Theyd makes nice little stocking fillers. They came in some boxes of goodies I had from tesco when I signed up to their summer club and they won't be used here Smile

AMillionNameChangesLater · 29/08/2014 15:32

Admiral - the planes washcloth would be loved here! DS1 is almost 3 and a huge Planes fan, much more than Cars!

Mipe · 29/08/2014 15:39

Have been watching this on CamelCamel and it seems a good price (great reviews), Bike Multi Tool with carry case now £9.99 (probably won't be for long) Smile.

admiralclingus · 29/08/2014 15:49

million pm me and its all yours Smile

NorksEnormous · 29/08/2014 16:27

Today ds's replica man utd football kit came from Ali express and it's fantastic- looks exactly like the real thing. Cost about £12 I think for the tshirt and shorts and the tshirt is printed with name and number. Even my brother couldn't tell the difference and he has the real kit!

duzzlightyearsmum · 29/08/2014 17:05

Just ordered my coke bottles for various siblings-in-law! And thought I'd post to say my local 99shop has two packs of plastic reusable popcorn boxes (like the old style ones on movies) which I'm going to pick up a load of to put with cokes and other treats for 'movie night in' bundles. Hope that helps someone else!

Still desperately trying not to purchase a Tassimo machine as we don't have room for it.... But DP would love it!

Xxx

TenMinutesEarly · 29/08/2014 17:53

We are sorting out our finances so I have added up what I have spent so far. Total so far £221. Shock total saved £379 GrinGrinGrin

iloveholidays · 29/08/2014 18:38

thanks builders. I think I might get some from tesco.

mine is coming on Monday... I've very tempted to just give it to DP now rather than wait until Christmas!!! Grin

Barbeasty · 29/08/2014 18:53

This is torture- I've had a text confirmation for the first Tassimo, but have been without mobile signal since, so no idea whether the 2nd order is also coming!! But no cancellation email yet....

worm77daisy · 29/08/2014 18:56

I just saw these as a cheaper alternative to Elf on the Shelf:

worm77daisy · 29/08/2014 18:59

PastaBow · 29/08/2014 19:02

10story if you live near a Disney store this jigsaw is gorgeous. Large, excellent quality and good value at £5.

DD loves it.
