As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

Well after 5 threads of lurking I've finally given in and bought some grown up presents on the Jules outlet - thank you so much for everyone posting links.

Can't believe it's still August and I've started my Christmas shopping!

stupidgreatgrinonmyface · 27/08/2014 14:16

Thanks to whoever gave the Tassimo link on an earlier thread. I ordered it yesterday and just had a text to say it will be delivered tomorrow. Off to check the L'occitane bargains now.

KEGirlOnFire · 27/08/2014 14:38

Freedom, I was a bit nervous about an Anna dress aswell and so ordered it off of ebay. It's coming from China and exactly the same pictures as those on Aliexpress, so likely the sellers are all using the same pics. The link for the one I've bought is below (I wanted the green 'Coronation Day' dress) and it arrived yesterday, ordered 7th August. It's really lovely and it's even cheaper now £8 altogether including postage.

I actually ordered an age 5-6 as even though DD is 5, she's in 3-4 age clothes. It actually looks like it might be a little big for her at the moment so I've put it away for Xmas. Link below.

It looks like the picture. Smile

KEGirlOnFire · 27/08/2014 14:49

So, thank you for the ASDA tip, I've now ordered an Elsa dress - of course I will be expecting an email saying that the order's been cancelled... but we'll see. Smile

WildFlowersAttractBees · 27/08/2014 14:52

Huge thank you Questions, the parcel tip is great!

Chockywockydoodah · 27/08/2014 15:04

Whilst ordering an Asda Frozen dress, I also found a £6 Frozen nightie Grin

misstiredbuthappy · 27/08/2014 15:49

Just orderd a personal door mat Grin

Mama1980 · 27/08/2014 15:53

Personalised doormat, and throws for the children's Christmas Eve box ordered. Thanks SmileThanks

BakeOffQueen · 27/08/2014 15:57

Stupid question- when you order the doormat from Studio24, do you put your name as xxxx or xxxx's when you personalise it? I don't want it to come as xxxx's's iyswim Grin

Ainmnua · 27/08/2014 15:57

I can't remember whether the link was here or not but I ordered some Frozen pencil cases and they arrived today from china, two week delivery and a nice item for the price. They don't come in any cellophane so probably better as a stocking filler. Link is here.

BakeOffQueen · 27/08/2014 16:01

Sorry, I should have said it's for the- 'The xxxx's are home for Christmas' one. Forgive me, I'm tired today!

My chinese colour changing roses arrived from Amazon today. Can't remember when I ordered them but they got here quickly, reasonably well packaged but the boxes were slightly squashed anyway.

But they work, look quite bright, are a little smaller than I expected and would be nice as part of a set of things in a gift bag, perhaps with bath stuff instead of a candle or maybe with a cup and hot chocolate and cosy socks or something as part of a relaxation set.

LondonBetti · 27/08/2014 17:02

Theworks have Frozen busy books and bubbles back in stock for £7.99, free delivery over £10 and 20% off some items with code 20FD. Not sure if a good deal but dd will love it anyway :-)

wigglesrock · 27/08/2014 17:26

sleepyjean I have the Anna and Elsa dolls and the bodice is moulded on - you can take the skirts & boots off and with Elsa you can also take the cape off.

parentallyinept · 27/08/2014 17:31

Thanks for the heads-up on the Asda Elsa dresses, just ordered mine for my daughter. I just hope they don't cancel the order, as I've had to buy the corresponding Anna costume from Amazon for my younger daughter, and that's already been shipped!

Elvish · 27/08/2014 17:39

Sleepjean the Disney "Sparkle" dolls have molded bodices and removable skirts, shoes and crowns. DD who is 5 has these and is happy with them, they are also very useful for making into princess cakes as you don't have to ice the doll, just the cake skirt Grin

I looked at the dolls which can hold hands to light up (or something) but I didn't think they were worth the extra money for my DD who isn't really into dolls that much.

DD1 wants the muscial Anna and Elsa dolls. Shetells me this after I had ordered the toddler dolls from AliExpress

Does any know what they are like?

Am I right in thinking only the Disney store does the singing ones and the other shops just sell ones that play music?

zipzap · 27/08/2014 18:16

I'm going to get a couple of these toothpaste squeezer animal things from amazon - at 43p each including delivery I can't go too wrong! Especially as the dc are rubbish at squeezing the tube out efficiently and are all too quick to shout that it needs replacing when there's still loads in there.

And whilst looking at them I spotted these festive stacking snowmen crayons for £1.30 for 4 which look like they will be good for stocking fillers or maybe for sticking on the table on christmas day or when I have other family with young kids over - to keep them quietly and happily drawing while the adults enjoy a long lazy lunch!

They also have smiley head versions - 3 for 69p!

Other things that popped out as looking nice/good stocking fillers:
telescopic pen that collapses small and looks like a large vitamin tablet 69p for 2

christmas finger puppets £1.59 for 5

10 animal finger puppets £1.69 for 10

portable handbag sized mirror and comb set that looks like an oreo cookie 71p delivered

Myhensareladies · 27/08/2014 18:56

Thanks zip

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 27/08/2014 19:10

I've discovered that we have a nice little collection of tesco club card points, and a few things I'm after are on the 2x club card boost just now. Just wanted to check with all you expert bargain hunters, is 2x the max tesco offer on toys? I know you can get 4x on days out etc. but even at 2x it will save me a good amount on Christmas presents! Grin

wibblyjelly · 27/08/2014 19:14

Thanks Zip, just ordered a tooth paste squeezer for one of ds's advent presents Grin

admiralclingus · 27/08/2014 19:17

That toothpaste squeezer is PERFECT for our random gift game that me and my friend play!
