Not sure if this has been mentioned - apologies if so.

Perfume atomiser just 99p with free delivery.

Takes a couple of weeks to arrive but quality looks good. Will use mine as part of a beauty hamper but would also make a good stocking filler.

MissLurkalot · 01/07/2014 12:31

Scaredy its just basic common sense not to give my card details online to a site I don't trust.

I would rather pay through a trusted third party. It adds another level of protection.

Why are you taking genuine concerns so personally?

I've been looking through the discounted toys on Amazon and found a number of 'add-on' deals about (with add-on you have to spend £10 on other goods to qualify for free delivery):

Lego-style Character Building Monsters vs Zombies set at £3.24

Cute looking cupcake making set at £3.29

Zoobles jump rope playset at £2.99

Harumika petite set at £1.35

Wild Republic tube of horses for £1.90

Hobbit Battle Axe at £1.96

Rather unseasonal for Christmas, but water balloon launcher (a bit like the snowball launchers that were popular last year) at £2.99

Bosch toy kettle at £2.55 and matching toaster at £3.45

Lots of Fly Wheels stuff including twin turbo launcher at £4.31 and deluxe pack of 3 for £2.34

Plan Toys 4-figure family at £2.53

I have checked most, but not all, of these on camelcamelcamel and they seem good prices, but obviously double check before buying and take the rrp with a pinch of salt.

nickdrakeslovechild · 01/07/2014 14:54

mayhem I got a few games including the gruffalo rhyming, can you see, jumping frogs and princess sticker book all £2 each and 2 of the cheap stamps. Sorry I know it wasn't me you asked! Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 01/07/2014 15:04

mono those items are going to your wigs list.

nickdrakeslovechild · 01/07/2014 15:07

FFS Wish not wigs.

MayhemMostDays · 01/07/2014 15:20

Thanks Nickdrake Smile

I lost the thread! Back on it..

KinkyDorito · 01/07/2014 15:42

Hello bargain thread!

I am after a 250GB Xbox 360 with a wireless controller for DS. They are usually listed for about £200, but I have seen them as low as £99 in sales in the past.

I am hoping that some canny bargain spotters might see one and be able to let me know. I'm hoping for a new one for less than £150, which might be possible as the summer sales hit.

If anyone spots one and can let me know on here, I would be very grateful Thanks.

JerseySpud · 01/07/2014 16:36

Kinky if you use an amazon link and then input it to camelcamelcamel then it will email you when it does drop to a price you want

daddykyller · 01/07/2014 16:38

Just seen a very nice jewellery bargain: Iced Out Clear Crystal 925 Sterling Silver Shamballa 10mm Necklace Pendant with 45cm/18 inch LINK Chain

Down from £29.99 to just £3.25

daddykyller · 01/07/2014 17:02

Sorry that last one was from amazon. Just been scouring the place for more bargains lol. And I've seen another:

New Kids Folding Storage Box 50cm x 30cm x 40cm Boys Blue Aeroplanes Toy Chest Was £12.99 and Now down to £7.66

WisemansBridge · 01/07/2014 20:28

Thank you everyone for the info on the corgi set price change at argos. If it wasn't for you lot I wouldn't have even tried but the lady on the till did it straight away for me. Thanks to whoever posted about it first too. It's a great little set for the price and my dd3 will love it :) Flowers

My Elsa dress order from asda was honoured but I've had problems with asda delivery in the past and in my experience their customer service is absolutely shocking. Good that they're at least giving everyone £5 vouchers but still crap that it happened at all.

In other news, my minecraft watermelon purse and my loom band charms arrived. Both great :)

I'm looking forward to the new thread, whenever a thread becomes very long my stupid phone won't let me post on it so I'm having to load up the pc to post!

Littlemousewithcloggson · 01/07/2014 21:12

VERY impressed with Argos. Decided to order 10 designafriend dolls for dds party instead of going home bags. Normally spend about £3 each on a bag full of plastic tat so thought this would - for a special change - be worth the extra £1.99 per child. Got 5 each from 2 stores reserved
but only managed to pick 5 up from one as couldnt get to the other store. Store I went to phoned the other store, they extended the reservation for a week and when I picked them up today honoured the sale price no bother at all even though they had gone up to full price. Thats what I call excellent service!

NigellaEllaElla · 01/07/2014 21:38

If you are thinking of getting foodie presents for people with special diets such as coeliac or gluten free then a company called Sticky Mix are doing 15% off their baking mixes, which I can testify are amazing! I used them in a hamper for Mothers Day. Code is Smile and website is www.Sticky-Mix.co.uk

WisemansBridge · 01/07/2014 21:41

I was really impressed with argos too, sorry should have said that in my post. It's not the first time they've been brilliant, once my phone battery went when I was on my way there so I didn't know my reservation number but they were really helpful and searched for it for me, it took them a while too as there were lots of reservations for that item (it was the Talking Santa from this thread, wonder if the others were mnetters Grin). But they didn't grumble once and it was all done with a smile.

BeanyIsPregnant · 01/07/2014 21:54

I ordered one of those scarves ages ago from this thread, for my Sil for her birthday and it arrived today, really nice and amazing quality for the money.. I just wish I knew someone else who wore them!

daddykyller · 01/07/2014 22:11

Toys R Us are having a 2Sizzling Summer Clearance. Says up to 70% off. This week only. ToysRUs Sale

TenMinutesEarly · 01/07/2014 22:17

Wow littlemouse Dd is going to a party in August and I bought the designafriend doll as a present. Hope it's not your dd's party.

You do realise there's going to be a thread on AIBU from a guests mum saying "guess what dd got in place of a party bag today" Grin
