mipe if you purchase from The Book People through Quidco you can get 15% off and 3% cashback - that might claw some money back.

Loom Bands DIY Watch (+ 300 Bands + 12 Clips+charms & other extras)

from a top ebay seller for just £1.19 delivered.

olivo · 30/06/2014 20:17

My asda Elsa dress has also been cancelled.

On the upside, the customer service at Zatchels is excellent!

nickdrakeslovechild · 30/06/2014 20:24

Honestly all those that have had the Asda dress cancelled the Elsa one I posted earlier from Ali is really really lovely, came in a week for £5.00.

MayhemMostDays · 30/06/2014 20:30

I need a prepaid card though for Aliexpress ... and it seems like a lot of hassle to get one

chaosisawayoflife · 30/06/2014 20:46

Thanks daddykyller just ordered.

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 30/06/2014 20:51

I wonder if anyone actually had their order from Asda honoured? Maybe they just needed our money for a week to tide them over Hmm

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 30/06/2014 20:57

Did everybody on here who's had their Asda Elsa dress cancelled get a £5 voucher? I'm on a FB group and it seems a lot of people on there have had theirs cancelled too but received a voucher as a sort of compensation.

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 30/06/2014 21:08

I collected my Designfriend dolls from Argos today, thanks to the OP for those.

The sales assistant said what a bargain they were and I said I'd been worried that the price might go up - she said if ever that happened they would honour the price it was reserved at. Seems it might be at the stores discretion so I hope the poster who was told they would have to pay the on the day price managed to get the reduced price.

SisterMoonshine · 30/06/2014 21:49

Thanks for the tesco Crayola extreme colour & create link earlier, I've ordered that for DD1 and the creativity case (£7.50, reduced from £15) for DD2.

MayhemMostDays · 30/06/2014 22:26

I got a poxy £5 voucher yamas

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 30/06/2014 23:40

I got the £5 voucher too. Would have preferred the bloody vouchers!

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 30/06/2014 23:40

Dresses! Not vouchers!

306235388 · 01/07/2014 08:20

I got 2 Elsa dresses from Asda, seems I was very lucky. I hate it when companies take money and orders then can't complete them.

Thanks for the tip re poundland dive sticks I got a set yesterday.
Debenhams had a clothes sale on when I was in yesterday and quite a bit of home stuff reduced too.

NorksEnormous · 01/07/2014 08:22

Can anyone recommend a car garage for a 4 year old? He has oh recently got into matchbox cars etc, and I bought the corgi playset and give it to him and he absolutely loves it. He uses the fisher price little people garage at the minute but I would like to get him something a bit more grown up Smile

bleurghblah · 01/07/2014 09:14

WaitMonkey · 01/07/2014 09:18

Scaredycat3000 · 01/07/2014 11:10

Mayhem may I ask what you normally pay for things online? Visa are currently advertising on Aliexpress, Alibaba parent company to Aliexpress announced it would be floating on the New York stock exchange soon, they have the VeriSign secured logo. They are not some big scam set up to take your money, well no more than Ebay. Aliexpress take your payment and sit on it until you confirm you have received your goods or the set time has run out, then they give your money to the seller. They are hardly going to take paypal, owned by Ebay, as they are in direct competition with Ebay. Plenty of people have spent their time giving you advise yet all you just keep coming back with another perceived problem.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 01/07/2014 11:47

I ordered from Ali Express with my debit card. It had the padlock sign and took me through to the 3D Secure page my bank uses so it seems safe enough for me.

Gooseysgirl · 01/07/2014 12:06

Nickdrakeslovechild, I also did well on the Mothercare site this morning for stocking fillers (and clothes for next summer for DD) delighted Smile
