I have bought designafriend, sulley mask, playskool learnanimal, radio controlled car and Lego chima set from Argos today. Lego £1.99 and rest £4.99. That's my nieces and nephews sorted for £22 in total instead of the £90 retail cost! Very pleased.

DeckTheHorse · 27/06/2014 20:07

And did I mention that Beechwood Manor has real electric lights inside? How cool is that?

AccessorizeQueen, DD has friends and relations up to at least 12 who play with and add to their Sylvanian collections, it seems to span the whole of primary age. It's easy to think that they need to grow up sooooo fast.. I'd rather DD played with her squirrels for a few years yet before she wants 1 Direction action figures or something.

I am surprised she's still into My Little Pony, because I always thought that used to be for three or four year olds, but since the revamp that gave them slender figures and sly-looking eyes they seem to be drawing an older crowd.

nickdrakeslovechild · 27/06/2014 20:11

The Elsa dress I got is this I got the smallest size and it fits my 2.5 year old a tiny bit big.

nickdrakeslovechild · 27/06/2014 20:12

oh and you cant see on the link but it has a beautiful bow on the back.

bewleysisters · 27/06/2014 20:35

Lots of lovely stocking fillers in the Paperchase sale today. Good for teen stockings (lip balms, badges, novelty pens, nail folis etc etc )

JerseySpud · 27/06/2014 20:56

Disney Infinity has now price dropped on Amazon.

PS3 - £20
Xbox 360 - £25
Nintendo Wii - £20

Look at me! I am a link to Disney Infinity and a bargain!!

JerseySpud · 27/06/2014 20:56

Once joy of being in Jersey. Mine was VAT free and cost me £16.67 Grin

Barbeasty · 27/06/2014 21:25

Those starter packs are all £20 in John Lewis, with free click and collect.

They had some real bargains in store today. I had to sit on my hands to not buy the playmobil hotel at £50. And all sorts of other things reduced. I father christmas got DD a set with a Christmas ruler, pencil, sharpener and rubber for 75p.

I got DN a dress for her birthday- reduced to £6.

DD was totally underwhelmed by her (unreduced) pe kit for reception in September!

sallyst123 · 27/06/2014 21:30

ooh mipe im looking at that age range too (9 yo girl) if ypu get any ideas let me know. im really struggling with what to get her this year

JerseySpud · 27/06/2014 21:33

Must be why Amazon have reduced them. I don't get John Lewis over here so im happy with my bargain Grin

Mipe · 27/06/2014 21:55

Sallyst123 so far I have got some barbie stuff, some Sylvanian bits, an Orbeez globe (when it was £6), a space garden (when it was £7.51) and some National Geographic books :). She also likes Monster High dolls but has quite a few of those already.

Coveredinweetabix · 27/06/2014 22:00

Barbeasty - which JL was the reduced hotel in? It is top of DD's list.

daddykyller · 27/06/2014 22:05

Sensational Sequins Poodles Galt.
Down from £5.99 to £1.84 (add on item).

Might be good as a stocking filler!

www.amazon.co.uk/Sensational-Sequins-1004438-Poodles-Galt/dp/B00IF5AI40/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403911267&sr=8-1&keywords=galt+sequin+poodles

DeckTheHorse · 28/06/2014 06:46

thanks babycakes I just bought the poodles, they came up at £1.79.

Already got DD a sequin art kit for Christmas ( www.amazon.co.uk/KSG-0710-Sequin-Junior-Fawn/dp/B0017UQQPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403934176&sr=8-1&keywords=sequin+art+deer , not a bargain particularly but a lovely set), so this will be a rainy day activity or something to take on holiday, can't knock it for that price.

Barbeasty · 28/06/2014 07:37

The hotel was in Cribs Causeway (Bristol). The also had the volcano dinosaur set in a battered box for about £20 something.

Loads of their plastic toys for babies/ toddlers were reduced. And all the disney infinity character pack things were £5 too, so same as Amazon.

WaitMonkey · 28/06/2014 08:21

Also ordered the poodle sequin set (we are all sheep). Grin Thanks.

HermioneWeasley · 28/06/2014 10:21
