Talking of successes, thanks for flagging up the Argos sale Imaginext dinosaurs - there was only one store local to me that had stock but the £5 ones are amazing! Am I right in thinking they came down to £5 before once in their sale? I will have to keep an eye out.

What age group go for sylvanian families? My dd is turning 6, love the look of the Hall but is she too old to start? Thank you, bargain hunters!

I collected the SF hall today from Toys'R'Us (had reserved it beforehand). The lady that worked there said I was lucky to get one as they all went really quickly at my local store, and she was amazed what a good price it was, we had a discussion about what a bargain it was . It looks really great from the box actually. accessorize I bought it for DD (3.5) but I've bought SF in the past for someone who asked for them for her 8th birthday, so I guess it depends on the child but it's one of those things that might last and last.

If anyone is near a ToyRUs that has it in stock, you can get Sylvanian farmhouse furniture accessories for £2.96 - all the ones near me have gone though. Ilford has some, I don't know where else.

Thank you soooo much for the Sylvanian Beechwood Hall - I reserved it last night and collected today, It came with two animals and some furniture which i really didn't expect, there was no mention of it in the listing - I got a lovely little squirrel and a chocolate rabbit, desk and chair set and a piano and stool.

The box is massive, so it will make a lovely Main Present for DD7. We already have quite a few Sylvanians (car boot sale) but they are currently homeless, this will be perfect. I'll buy one nice family, and a few furniture sets, and sorted.
