Looking at all my bargains (mainly stocking fillers!) makes me absurdly happy

Mipe - that seller from amazon has been emailing me and has been really nice. I said I was disappointed that the bird key holder hadn't arrived in packaging as I needed it for a gift. They asked me to send a picture of the packaging so I sent the photo they used on their listing and they've got back to say a new one has been posted out and apologised. Have you got it sorted with them?

My Aliexpress stuff has been arriving. The clothes for DS are lovely but I don't think I would order any more clothes for myself. One of the skirts would hardly cover my bum! It's still a nice skirt and seems decent enough quality so I'll be giving it to my niece.

I'm really pissed off with argos. I reserved the corgi playset and was told I'd receive an email in the next couple of days advising when it had arrived at store. Had the email today, it's arrived but they want £17.99 for it because that's the price it is today! Bloody cheek. If I'd known they wouldn't let me have it as the price I reserved it I would've got it from another store nearby as we have three in our town and an argos where my dh works, 3 in my mum's town too. Really annoyed and sad for my dd who would've loved it :(

Yes I was able to show them my email and they honored the reservation price even though the price had gone up the next day. I'd go in store and speak to a manager, Wise!

Or email the CEO of argos if you don't get anywhere with management.

I mean the price had gone up the day I went to pick up the item. Take your reservation email if you can!

My girls pumpkin necklace arrived. It was for my 5 yr old DD but the chain is so long that I don't really think they're suitable for younger kids. I got 3 of them so will put them in 'the box' until I can use them!

Yes, they're down from £10.99 to £7.36. This one is Cinderella but there a quite a few other at that price too.

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle yes they eventually agreed to send me replacements too! I am half expecting them to send me more birdhouses without packaging though :).

The corgi playset is good, but not really worth more than £5.. Maybe £7 at a push! Push for the price you reserved it at, they will probably reduce it down for you if you push hard and loud enough..

I am pretty sure Argos state on reservations that the price charged will be the price in store on that day. Worth a try complaining, but it is up to the manager I believe.

Amazon have price matched their World Series of Yathzee to Argos at £1.99, it is an add on item but a great price! :)

With the John Lewis wrapping paper be aware that it says assorted, so you could end up with any of the designs in the 3rd picture.

I ended up with 1 of the red rolls in the main picture, and 3 rolls of the white version (top right in the 3rd picture).

The tags were all the same though.

Oh, thanks for that Barbeasty I did see that it said assorted, but (wrongly!) assumed that as it said woodland star, then that was the one you'd get... They all look nice though, so happy whatever thank you!

Jersey spud, you can order John Lewis on line to jersey. They take the VAT off afterwards too. They deliver furniture and everything.
