Thanks lucysmam I see these things that I would of liked when I was little and cant help myself. I've not heard of any LO not liking them so I should be in luck.

TenMinutesEarly · 26/06/2014 22:00

Not a bargain but I have caved and ordered a Frozen Anna animator doll and a barbie style one from disney store. I'm pre planning as I'm guessing they will be hard to come by nearer Christmas. Waiting for Kristoff and Elsa to come back in stock now.

DH is looking at me like this Hmm

MayhemMostDays · 26/06/2014 22:04

Would a 4yo like a sylvanian house?

I can't decide between that or the playmobil take along dolls house.

Or the Lego princess castle ....

Help Me!!! Too Much Choice!!!!

scrappydappydoo · 26/06/2014 23:05

Yes the description for the sylvanian house says no furniture or figures but the reviews say it comes with two figures?? Hence my confusion...

wigglesrock · 26/06/2014 23:14

Just delurking, I'm getting the Sylvanian Hall for my 3.5 year old. I've 3 daughters & picked up some Sylvanian stuff last year - it's been brilliant especially the campervan. Other toy figures fit inside, mine use Playmobil, Lego, Smurf, Happyland figures in it. Usually there's no figures supplied, but I bought something earlier in the year that came with one.

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 26/06/2014 23:40

Beany I ordered it on 6th June. I ordered quite a few other things that day too and this has been the last one to arrive.

snowgirl1 · 26/06/2014 23:52

Lottie could you post the link to the colour changing flower? Sounds good, but I can't find a link for it? Thanks

Rosvita · 27/06/2014 00:27

mayhem probably no help whatsoever but we have my dd (4yo this November) a similar sylvanian families house for Xmas last year and she loves it-it is one of the most played with toys and her elc rosebud dolls house which she received the previous Xmas is now hardly played with.she has shown an interest in the lego rapunzel tower (for some reason she always says 'no' when I show her the lego Cinderella castle?!) so that is what she's getting as her main present for either bday or Xmas this year. she also enjoys her brother's playmobil swimming pool and playground too though and quite often mixes all the playsets up (used playmobil in the sf house etc). All 3 brands are fab and have longevity so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them-it's just down to personal preference -I love the sf the best as their soo cute- Relatives could perhaps buy a sf room set each as their Xmas present for her to reduce the cost (just a suggestion).I'm having to sit on my hands to resist the urge to guy beechwood hall-would love it but sadly our house is too small for a playroom and we don't really have the room to build a sf village!

Rosvita · 27/06/2014 00:29

She is getting the sf Father Christmas with Xmas tree set though for her birthday on November though so she can out up the tree in her sf house when we out our tree up!

Reastie · 27/06/2014 06:46

OK, you've all just made me reserve the Sylvanian Families house! DD has a SF chalet house with furniture and I have some SF characters set by for christmas. I guess now I'll be looking out for cheap furniture to fill it with (and trying to find some space to put it after Christmas!).

Um can't get Burts Bees page to load at moment, sorry twinkle
It should be visible on their homepage www.burtsbees.co.uk/natural-products/ summer grab bags£55. Worth of products for 25. All in a lovely presentation box. There was a code for free gift and free delivery but I don't remember them sorry- they were on the first thread.

mamapants · 27/06/2014 08:28

Maybe it was BBset14 someone else might remember

mamapants · 27/06/2014 08:40

This might be useful for someone, the ladybug wheelybug is for sale for 39 down from 60. Much cheaper than all the other designs.
DS2 won't be old enough for this at xmas but maybe good for someone

Chocolateteabag · 27/06/2014 08:41

Bodeccia Thanks for the tip about the Cath Kidston towels on Amara.com
I have just got 3 sets of the Cowboy print bath towel and wash mitt for £36 - would have been £126 full price!!

2organised · 27/06/2014 08:58

psychicpaper · 27/06/2014 09:13

My leather bracelet watch arrived yesterday.

Looks lovely for little sis for xmas

ValiumQueen · 27/06/2014 09:41

Sometimes the SV sets have an extra figure or furniture set with them. Possibly the reviews are based on previous offers. Best to budget for a couple of figures and anything else is a bonus.

My girls prefer Playmobil and I made the mistake of buying lots of SV stuff on offer. I am now selling some, but holding onto unopened bits to sell nearer Christmas. Playmobil stuff goes in the bath and I think that is why it is preferred as they want to take everything in the bath. They are 8 and 4.

BigfootFiles · 27/06/2014 10:06

Just to say the Sylvanian families (cow and pig) at Debenhams with 40% off are still more expensive than the same ones at Toys R Us.

Rosvita · 27/06/2014 10:08

reastie I've just reserved one at my local store just in cc case I decide to buy it after all...

WaitMonkey · 27/06/2014 10:22

I've ordered £179 worth of toys for £41 from Argos. Can't link because I'm on my phone. I've ordered a couple of Lego sets for £1.99 down from £9.99. Great for all the parties. Also a couple of designadolls, magic set, colour in house thing and an imaginext dinosaur. Thanks for putting me into the Argos sale. Smile

wigglesrock · 27/06/2014 10:39

I've just picked up the Sylvanian Hall. It looks like it comes with 2 figures - a big one and a little one and 2 small pieces of furniture -a piano & a writing desk !

It's a big box just incase you're trying to hide it.

Rosvita · 27/06/2014 10:57

wiggle thanks for the info on the house.Think I may cave and buy it after all!

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 27/06/2014 11:14

Bakugan Battle Arena down to 99p at Argos, from £29.99!

Mama1980 · 27/06/2014 11:51

2 tops I ordered from that chinese eBay type site whose name is escaping me right now Blush one for me and one for ds1 arrived today. Ds's is actually too big I ordered a size bigger thinking it would be small and it's too big, oh well he'll grow into it. As far as quality goes, it's pretty good, no different to what I'd buy in asda/primark etc.
mine fits about right I was true to uk sizes, again I was surprised by the quality. The material is really thick and neat.
Basically I was impressed and they only cost £4 all together. They arrived in less than 9 days.

Moodykat · 27/06/2014 13:39

Mama - what chinese eBay type site? Am intrigued!
