According to the box when you press the hand they say 12 cute phrases and when you push their tummy they talk to other tatty teddy blue nose friends.

The one I am looking at also has a cute glow in the dark nose...aaaahhhhh Grin

WisemansBridge · 25/06/2014 19:44

Oops no idea why my post appeared 3 times, sorry!

Has anyone had those play sets from argos before? They look great but the reviews aren't very good, not sure whether to bother.

Thanks for the loom charms link daddykyller, ordered them :).

PickleMobile · 25/06/2014 19:57

Would the blue nosed teddies be good for a 3 year old do you think? Might get my niece one for Christmas at that price.

Argos have the violet designafriend doll for 4.99 and the little sister doll for 4.99 too. They are lovely dolls and come in a box tissue wrapped with a bracelet. You can buy outfits too. They are usually 19.99

If anyone has any wrestling mad little boys Argos also has a Brodus Clay I have no idea who he is either brawling buddy and a john cena fancy dress outfit both 4.99 and usually 19.99 at least. The brawlin buddies are often 25.

JaquelineHyde · 25/06/2014 21:46

Blue nosed teddies are Age 3+ Pickle so I think it they would be fine for your niece.

RosieBdy · 25/06/2014 22:25

Thanks Reastie :-) thought I'd just check to see if you were here yet and you're on thread 2! Just ordered finger lights as kept reading about them last year, then feeling all left out that I seemed to be the only one who didn't get around to ordering them. We WILL dance around with lights this Christmas too!

MooseyMoo · 26/06/2014 07:02

Thanks Ten I was looking at those Designafriend dolls and couldn't make up my mind. I've bought Violet for £4.99 and Ballerina & dress set for £2.99 for my 4yo DD who will love changing the outfits round.

BeanyIsPregnant · 26/06/2014 07:36

I'm seconding someone to let me know what that argos playset looks like please!!

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 26/06/2014 09:07

I've just reserved three of these Moxie Girls After School Dolls to put away as presents for school birthday parties. Only £1.99 each so really cheap but look a lot more.

KEGirlOnFire · 26/06/2014 09:14

Thanks for the tip with Argos - just bought 2 of the Violet Dolls and one of the little sister ones. The Molly and friends outfits (DD has a Sally doll and she's the same size as the Molly one), a Tree Fu Tom thingy (no idea what it is but my friend's DS loves it...) and a duvet set!! And that was before breakfast and the school run!! Smile

KEGirlOnFire · 26/06/2014 09:28

Thanks YaMas, just ordered 4 of those aswell. It's 6th birthdays coming up post September in DD's school so I think these will work quite well Smile.

supermariossister · 26/06/2014 10:04

Tonka prison 4.99 from 24.99 at Argos too

whoneedstosleep · 26/06/2014 10:55

Just picked up the argos corgi playset, it's ok. Certainly not worth the rrp of £20 but fine for £4.99.

It comes with 7 vehicles , 2 small garage/sheds and smallish play mat. The vehicles are decent quality.

whoneedstosleep · 26/06/2014 10:56

Just noticed a second playmat in box, so yes it's worth the £5 IMO.

WisemansBridge · 26/06/2014 11:17

Thank you whoneeds, just reserved a playset fir dd3 for Christmas, I think she'll love it. Thanks fluffy for posting the original link.

And thank you daddykyller for mentioning the argos deals, picked up some outfits for dd's Sally doll, that's quite a few of your bargains I've bought now daddykyller so big big thanks Flowers.

AppleSnapple · 26/06/2014 11:20

Not exactly a Christmas bargain, but if you're flexing your wallet and buying shoes in the schuh online sale and need them by the weekend, they are doing next day delivery for £1!!

BeanyIsPregnant · 26/06/2014 12:36

whoneeds are the trucks and stuff big enough for a 2yo? I know it's 3+ but the age categories on some stuff is horrifically decieving!!

Mama1980 · 26/06/2014 12:40

Can't link as I'm on my iPad but rocketdog.com have a sale on, pretty big discounts too.
And emma Bridgwater sale has just started, I just got three Christmas mugs, bird mugs and tea towels for half price.

bleedingheart · 26/06/2014 12:46

Sale now on at PIA Jewellery

Not dirt cheap but lovely quality and a bit different from the usual choices

whoneedstosleep · 26/06/2014 13:05

beany my ds is away to turn 2 next week and I'd let him play with it.

NigellaEllaElla · 26/06/2014 13:30

I was just thinking to myself, oh that Christmas Bargains Thread was amazing last year, I'll just check if they've started one yet, and here you are on your second thread!

Couple of little bits to add that I purchased this morning -
Usborne pack of 4 Football sticker books in a carry along box £3 in sainsburys instead of £12.99.
Also Usborne A5 travel/pirate activity pad £2.49 instead of £4.99.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 26/06/2014 14:37

Mama if you press and hold the address bar it should give you an option to copy. Then press and hold again here to paste it. You just need to put the before then after to make it a link.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/06/2014 15:08

Libertys eBay outlet has more scarves.
