Ah, yes, the speed eating with one hand. That ability stills comes in useful now 11 years later.

Drew - if you don't have a tame DGranny or similar to invite you to theirs, or feel you need a backup in case you can't face that - I'd definitely second an M&S order. Booked in advance. Not too much (unless you HAVE to host people) - a nice roast joint that suits you and DH, some nice veggies and sides, a nice pud. But also a few different nibbly things that they do so well - so DH can throw those in the oven for the inevitable visitors. And a few regular meals - that are freezeable (many are, but not all) - that you can have to fall back on for those days you cannot face or don't have time to get into the kitchen.

And I bet, even though those regular meals are never in the booklet, if you waddled into your local M&S to order in person, and asked to include a specified list of things in addition, they'd look after you! They're usually as helpful as possible, especially when dealing with bumps....

Marks and Spencer have announced today they are bringing out a brussel sprouts smoothie for Christmas.

I had an M&S chilled latte coffee today ('twas scrummy )

No queues of rabbly mobs looking for sprout smoothies I'm glad to report.

I'm going to try it when it comes out.

I bought ds a Lego Indianna Jones games today. When I told the bloke behind the counter it was a Christmas Present he looked at me like I just sprouted an extra head there and then.

Good morning everyone.
Christmas shopping in earnest from now on. Have been shopping in a big way for my home recently and everywhere "big" has sales on - M&S, House of Fraser, Debs', BHS etc

Christmas in July isn't too far away either.
