Oh, I'm just so excited for them it's ridiculous- my Ds2 is 4, and the first year he's really got into the FC vibe!

We've has a few changes over the past month, but pressies sorted, turkey ready to go, and I think I'm more excited for them to open their pressies than they are to get them!

My Ds1 is nearly 11. got a bit upset today because he hasn't got me a pressie, bless him! Told him, need a big cuddle, and a go on whatever game santa brings, which he laughed at, then said, 'alright muv, but I'll beat you at any game'!

Blessed x

oops Merry Christmas to you and your family

I have my two DC home for Christmas, with DDs BF and gorgeous GS. It's lovely to have everyone here. We've had the first glass of champagne and slice of Christmas cake.

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 24/12/2013 18:29

No! My two are tearing strips off each other and i'm tearing my vocal chords trying to put an end to it. Santa's bringing me a foolproof parenting manual. Or two cages. Grin

CoffeeQueen187 · 24/12/2013 18:31

Me too! Smile

I have 3 DS's. Im counting this Christmas as DS3s first Xmas as he was only 8 days old last year.

Ds1 and 2 can't wait! Think I'm more excited though. I keep randomly dancing round the house singing "Santas coming toniiiiiight!" Grin

I'll be jumping on their beds at 6am telling them to get up because "he's been" Grin

My boys make Christmas for me. It just wouldn't be Christmas without them Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/12/2013 18:31

My DS is 14 and DD is 11.6

DS was 18 days old at the Millenium Christmas and every Christmas has been lovely since they were born.

(Though they were a bit Hmm about London on Saturday. we went to Kew and OBVIOUSLY I picked a day it was peeing with rain on purpose. Yes I can predict the weather months ahead. )

My DD is out with friends (it's very quiet here) DH is Zzzzzzzzzzzzz, DS is X-Boxing.

I'm multi-tasking- cooking supper, watching Emmerdale Catch-Up, doing washing and MNetting Wink

And Grin @ "muv". My DS calls me "Muvver"

EeyoreIsh · 24/12/2013 18:32

No kids yet but I'm 34 weeks pregnant so feeling very blessed. Last Xmas after two years of trying my period started on Xmas day in a painful and heavy fashion, so I was really upset.

So you're right, I do feel really blessed even if baby isn't here just yet.

SofaKing · 24/12/2013 18:33

Yes, all three of mine are hurling round in spider man jammies, all matching as they requested, fighting evil and eating chocolate for dinner.

I love my sons and daughter so much, I feel truly blessed. And dh is tidying, I am amazed as he rarely does but I love him too!

oopsadaisyme · 24/12/2013 18:37

Your yep, I'm pretty sure my two may enter that realm shortly come bedtime, so this post may change haha!
chottie a very merry christmas to you and yours also! x

Feeling very excited and blessed here Grin, dd2 is 7 but this is the first year she has not been petrified of Christmas and father Christmas, she has ASD and this is the first year her understanding and language skills have been advanced enough to be able to discus Christmas . She's very excited and is about to find some carrots for the reindeer, a mince pie and drink of milk for father Christmas Grin, I feel blessed that she has come so far that she can now enjoy Christmas and can talk about it.

Hope you all have a great Christmas xxxx

oopsadaisyme · 24/12/2013 18:46

Haven't been lucky in the fertility stakes.
But my 3 beautiful nephews (10,7&1) are what christmas is all about.
Perhaps one day I will have a dc of my own for christmas and the rest of the year too!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 24/12/2013 18:51

This is DS' first Christmas - he is 11 months old and loving all the lights, decorations etc. Today we made mince pies and walked around u'd neighbourhood delivering cards. Simple pleasures. I am ridiculously excited about tomorrow!

isitme1 · 24/12/2013 18:51

Yep very blessed.
I haven't asked for anything of dh and vice versa.

Ds1 has had a few close encounters with as much as I hate to say death.
Hes got multiple health issues and is fed via a tube in his tummy. Hes only just getting the jist of Christmas hes 3.
Ds2 is 5months and we had to call an ambulance as he went blue after a coughing fit caused by bronchiolitis.

So yep they are the best things I could ever ask for. Xmas Grin

oopsadaisyme · 24/12/2013 18:52

I will never forget the year I spent Christmas miscarrying (very early days but still rather horrid). This is the first year DD has properly visited Father Christmas and asked for what she wanted. I have a house full of pressies and food and family popping over tomorrow as well. Life is good!!

happytalk13 · 24/12/2013 19:03

Incredibly lucky. DC 1 - there was a time when I thought I'd be spending my last Christmas with them

DC2 - this time last year I'd been told we'd lost her...she's 6 months old now.

Very blessed.

IamInvisible · 24/12/2013 19:04

I am.

My DH is in the RAF and is away for Christmas so I am bit sad. I have 2 wonderful boys (19 and 17 today). Last night I was in bed and DS1 was lying at the side of me. I asked him if he was excited about Christmas, he said "I'm just really excited to give you your present mum, you're gonna love it!"

From little hints and clues they have given me, I think they have got me Robbie Williams tickets. I will actually cry if they have.

They've been so good whilst their dad has been away, they don't need to give me presents.

JadziaSnax · 24/12/2013 19:05

After years of infertility, I finally have 2 DCs. My 7 year old DS is really excited. 11 month old DD has absolutely no idea what's going on but I'm sure she'll enjoy playing with the paper. I'm grinning just thinking about it Xmas Grin

oopsadaisyme · 24/12/2013 19:22

omg.... when I started this thread was not prepared for the responses given -

How incredibly brave and wonderful you all are x

A very happy christmas to everyone, and loads of love x

Also spent a year fearing I may lose my DS. Kids are precious. Tomorrow when it is manic crazy, the turkey won't fit in the oven etc just smile, kiss your children and tell them you love them. Priceless!

mumeeee · 24/12/2013 19:41

My DDs are all in their 20's and DD1 is married but they are all here this year including my son in law and I'm enjoying having them.

Yes, feeling very blessed. Have had a lovely afternoon with them. A few beers in the local and then to church for christingle and back home for tea. Kids have been fabulous.

Also our wonderful friends have just become parents for the first time after 7 attempts at IVF. So feeling very emotional and happy.
