is a hairdryer a very boring present for a 14 year old girl?

As I've just realised dd2 and ds1 have a few more presents than dd1. She doesn't have one, she uses mine sometimes. She has just got to the age when she is spending time on her appearance. I could get a nice hairdryer easily from argos.

Dh, as usual, says it is a really boring present but has no other ideas Angry

14 is a great age to start building up decent grooming stuff. I'd swerve the leopard print one though, unless it's defining the she'd love it. It's a very errr acquired taste.

Got one. It's a Babyliss purple one. Got a nice paddle brush and some elnett smoothing spray to go with. We'll see tomorrow!

Smile She was really happy with it. I wouldn't have given it as a main present but as a secondary present it was fine
