As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

So the dvd triple set I bought as a last minute extra gift fot my nieces and I wish I hadn't bothered - I paid extra to have it delivered yesterday and I've just called Amazon as it left the depot at 9am yesterday morning to be told it will arrive at the amazon locker tomorrow morning! So apparently TNT are delivering tomorrow and my local supermarket is open...

Can someone help please - have found some bits for dd2s birthday on sports direct site around £20 mark - stuff either not in my local store or cheaper online. However I'm hovering over the order button as it would kill me to pay 4.99 for postage.. is there anyway around it? can't seem to find any free delivery codes?

Oops just twitched about bought the ultimate dream castle for £74.99 in boots sale rrp £199.99.I had been after an ultimate dream castle all year for dd to open tomorrow without wanting to pay an extortionate price and after a lot a hoohaa involving an ebay debacle managed to get one of the older versions for a bargain £20 although it has a few little bits broken on it and some of the accessories missing.so she has this one I open tomorrow then I will replace it with the newer one later in the year (perhaps her birthday).not entirely warranted purchase but couldn't resist and also the new one has a lovely magic mirror app which works with the newer version.

Oh ffs! I hate you lot I have no will power! Why did I have to look at the boots website?!

I have now spent £75 on clothes for dd in the last 2 days! Oh well it's not like she doesn't need the next two sizes up. And it's better than full price!

Just ordered a load of things in the ELC sale. DC2 has started school so is getting lots of invites to soft play parties etc so some bargainous pre planning there.

Paperchase has a huge sale on 70 % off some things.

i juyst found zhu zhu babies in pound land again to go with it, they also came iwht little outfits , bottle etc .. so chuffed it wont look silly pulling nothing lol

Right, reindeer food etc out here too. DD is in the bath and I've filled her stocking and got all the presents out and ready in the sitting room (she's only 2 so we'll just ban her from the sitting room till the morning and pretend like there's nothing exciting in there).

It's not me to thank though (as it's so nice so many of you have) but it's everyone for linking stuff and alerting us to the bargains. It has genuinely been so nice to have festive banter for so much of the year when most people in RL think I'm nuts for thinking about christmas shopping in the summer.

I didn't get the bear and hare but I'm not thinking about it now until Boxing Day new year! I'm a bit gutted but there's nothing we can do about it! Thank you all who helped me try and get them, very grateful!

Well the DCs are asleep and Father Christmas has been, overboard isn't the word...but haven't paid full price for anything!

Slightly off topic but DD and DS were on TV today, DD was chosen to have a special day out treat in November to feed giraffes, penguins etc and it was aired today in their Christmas special show. It was lovely, very proud of them both. Watching her today has made me realise how much she has come one in the last 3 years...we never thought she would talk and now she's fluent in two languages.
