As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Silver Cross Pop Duo Doll's Pram half price in Argos so down to £14.99. I then had a £5 voucher so got it for £9.99 - so chuffed because it was a bit of a twitch - but not one that broke the bank.

Pirate ship takes about 45 mins. Wasn't too bad. Dc might be disappointed they can't play straight away though?

Wow- tesco refunded the £7.50 extra I had spent on the two zhu zhu sets on Friday! Well done them :) always worth an ask! never would have dared without this thread

Does the Boots online sale start midnight Christmas eve? Ideal for presents for next year, hoping I can be more organised

I have also just wrapped aplaymobil school! I never prebuild playmobil...t'is a tradition that Christmas day afternoon dp takes a bottle onto the kitchen table and his little screwdriver and is gone for hoooooours. T'is great! That was my last thing to wrap.

If you are after gift sets and such, then if you can face a scrum - and it is a scrum, then on the 3rd Wednesday in January they reduce all the Christmas gift sets to 75% off - instore only.

Go early, go alone and grab! I got all of this years smellies sets this way last jan.

I paid £2.50 for the £10 champneys spa sets, got a few no.7 sets and others I can't remember now.

I didn't get there until the afternoon and there was still stuff there but I imagine it was a gold mine first thing.

I like the shampoo sets as they come out cheap compared to buying separately and other gift sets good for DD's friends.

Pop it is worth asking. I went in for a dress and knew a friend was wanting one... there alone on the shelf (next to a gruffalo) sat one lonely bear!

I built the school a couple of nights ago & it took a couple of hours. All the pieces are divided into plastic bags in the box but there is no logic as to what is in which plastic bag so you keep having to look through each bag.
My top tip - work out where the clear panels should be as then you won't put them in the wrong place.

I just looked on the Clinton's website. Their sale starts at midnight on Xmas Eve. Having spent the evening wrapping, I have decided to only ever use naice wrapping paper rather than nasty stuff from the corner shop which rips so was looking out for deals. The M&S stuff is already half price but I think I'm going to hold out for a better deal.

This year is our first foray into Playmobil world. Bit worried now that we should have pre built

Covered last year I picked up some Disney paper in Aldi for 10p a roll, it's quite good quality and even has squares on the inside to help cut it straight.

Have been wrapping my present hoard all night. Dh looked very shocked at the size of it, don't think he believed how bargainous it was!

The hamster set is all boxed separately so yes, it could be split.

lego magazine subscription? Are Quidco still doing the £15 cashback offer? They had InStyle and Marie Claire for £15. Otherwise could you buy her a few months subscription to Flavourly or those beauty box things? No idea what they're like though.

Lego - no Groupon or Wowcher offers for facials or manicures near to you?
otherwise maybe a gift voucher for local spa that they can email you?

Lots out of stock now but the above still in stock. That's a couple of bday presents sorted

And just bought DDs main bday present - Playmobil swimming pool with water slide for £14.99 (and more vtech Dino switch & go)

I bought some clothes and Christmas cards, and a picture frame in the boots sale. That's all I want from them until the 75% off day.
