As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Just spent £30 in pumpkin patch. Missed out last time, the sites really confusing on my iPhone though which is probably a good thing else I'd have spent more!

Those zhu zhu hamsters from tesco are now down to £3.75, if anyone didn't get them already. I wasn't going to buy them but at that price I couldn't resist. Will put away for birthday presents for school friends.

oh OVO iv twitched.. i had allready brought the hamster set..

but iv brought enother hamster set and pet set.. i figure ill keep s and use any that are not the same as iv allready got .. as you cant be sure what tyour get then use the rest for spare presents.

pound land had hamster babies in and im kicking myself for not picking some up.

I just got the Playmobil large farm set for a tenner in Tesco. Slightly battered box but I'm delighted.

Hello all, just sticking my nose in for a catch up! Thank you to reastie and everyone else for all the bargains, and for being shopping buddies! I've really enjoyed this years threads.

Popped to M&S today but wasn't impressed with what was left. Went to Tesco to but swerved the toy dept. Regretting that now after reading about your finds!

Santa made an early appearance at our house last night. When DD and I came down this morning there was a huge santa sack on the kitchen floor! Her little face was a picture! I had to do some quick thinking about how it got there!

Turns out it is full of chocolate from some of DP's customers who clubbed together to buy it. There is also one of those chocolate bouquets that have been terribly mocked on mumsnet .

Have to say we are doing very well this year!

Now, I must wrap these blasted presents. Just realised DD's stocking is still in the loft, and DSD took her stocking back to her mam's last Christmas so I'm in need of stockings DP is not here and I don't do lofts.

Argh. Oh and still to build playmobil school. Anyone done built it yet? How long is it going to take me?

Started sale shopping and ordered hamsters, they will be nice for next few parties DD goes to! Oreo the playmobile school may take some time, speaking from bitter experience last year!

twitching over zhu zhu hamsters now for birthday presents for school. If you have them already - are the boxes easily split so it looks as if bought separately also are there any big hamsters cheap anywhere? Thinking if I can get two more hamsters it would make 3 presents.

The playmobil school is fab, but has a lot of pieces... DH spent a long time building that last Christmas Day

Gah I have decided not to build the school.

Instead I shall craftily wrap it, and take it to my mother's house and innocently let DD open it there after lunch and left DSF, DB and DP deal with a hyper 3 year old and a playmobil mission while DM and I wash up hide in the other sitting room scoffing cake.

Sounds like a good plan right?
