I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

They look fab. I bet the price goes up in a few weeks. You are sooo organised reastie. Amazing!

Waitingforflo · 06/01/2014 16:45

Not as a gift, but if you want something for you . . . John Lewis seem to have Joules sale stuff much cheaper than Joules. I got this dress, reduced from £70 to £45 in Joules, for £22 in John Lewis and everything else was much cheaper too.

LaTrucha · 06/01/2014 16:52

You can get free delivery on the eggs with YEO15

MooseyMoo · 06/01/2014 17:20

Remember a Letterbox? They've been taken over by Mulberrybush. Gutted was hoping for another mega sale. I got quick a few Melissa & Doug stuff half price.

Think I might be going to Sainsburys tomorrow for a look Smile

Reastie · 06/01/2014 17:44

Waiting I bought that joules dress but another colour from joules online , it's arriving this week. Is it just in JL stores or also on their website?

Very jealous of your Sainsburys bargains Reastie!! Thanks for letting us know about the Joules eggs, used LaTrucha's code free delivery code to get bath fizzers for Easter presents for all those friends I know who are dieting!

nickdrakeslovechild · 06/01/2014 20:52

Thanks Reastie popped into sainsburys and got loads of things including 6 of the disney princess wrapping paper for 20p a roll, 3 x kiddies 6 pack of crackers for 40p a pack was £4, a pack of 6 luxury crackers for £1.50 instead of £15 some make your own christmas cards, stockings and stockings for 36p each and this which is £3.98 in store!! Then to top it off nipped into asda and got the candy cyclone for £6. Along with the 2 packs of the zhu zhu puppies packs I've already saved a fortune on Christmas 2014!

ValiumQueen · 06/01/2014 21:21

My Sainsburys are a bunch of tight bastards! I clearly need to move.

LaTrucha · 07/01/2014 11:00

A long shot, but has anyone seen a Daisy the Cat (Fur Real) on offer anywhere?

snowgirl1 · 07/01/2014 14:30

Wilko's have 12m christmas wrapping paper for 50p. One style is red with small white polka dots, so might even do for birthday wrapping paper. The other style is red/white/grey scandi style wrapping paper.

OvO · 07/01/2014 15:56

Thanks again folks. Went it sainsburys and had a bargain hunt as a few of you had found some good bits and pieces.

So I managed to get
Hello Kitty nail varnishes (3pk) 70p
Hello Kitty bubble bath 70p
Planes bath stuff 30p
Monsters U bath canister 30p
Giant spool sewing basket £1.60
Light saber pen £1
Giant case of felt tip pens 99p

Pleased with my little haul. Bought a lot of the Hello Kitty stuff to use for birthdays.

MooseyMoo · 07/01/2014 16:05

I only spotted the little toy fabric fairies for 30p but didn't need them.

I did find some dinosaur figures by Megasaurus.com for £5.99 (7 figures) from Robert Dyas and popped into Boots to note that more stock had been added to shelves (mainly slippers). Think their 75% sale is supposedly 15th or 16th Jan.

nickdrakeslovechild · 07/01/2014 16:23

Yes OvO forgot to mention the light sabers. They are great, somehow 2 flew into my trolley!

Waitingforflo · 07/01/2014 17:07

I got mine (cheaper than Joules for a Joules dress) in my local store Reastie, not sure if they are the same price online. They had loads of really cheap stuff in there

WaitMonkey · 07/01/2014 18:10

70% off some moshi monster's on Amazon today. I've bought some for the present box.

I want a light sabre pen.

SomePeopleNeedHelp · 07/01/2014 19:08

My local Tesco christmas reductions are crap, 40000 cheese footballs and not much else.

Rosvita · 07/01/2014 21:46

nickdrake went to sainsbos on lookout for that fab styling head but was still 12.99 when I asked them to price check it :( on the plus side I walked out with loads of chilled meat/fish to last til the 21st when I have more £ again.

500internalerror · 07/01/2014 22:06

There's absolutely nothing in our sainsburys Hmm

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 07/01/2014 23:08

I was in M&S on Friday and every available surface was covered in boxes of Vanilla Prunes in a box (of 5) for 70p.

Not a good seller then Wink

And on Saturday, in Boots.....................I bought a small bag of Mini Cream Eggs

stickysausages · 07/01/2014 23:15

You naughty ciphers! Just ordered some bits from dotcom... Christmas napkins, doillies & cake cases.... Blush

Did get some stocking fillers to stash though Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 08/01/2014 10:43

Blimey, I must of got lucky in my sainsburys then. They had 2 of the styling heads, I nearly got both to put one away for a late birthday. Wish I had now.
I'm taking a zhu zhu puppy and hamster pack back to tescos they were only £3.75, I was going to split them for presents, but you can't get any more of the animals anywhere and it's a huge present on its own. I got 2 of the puppy ones I am keeping as got 2 different puppies and accessories with it for my LO at christmas. Does that make any sense?!

Mipe · 08/01/2014 16:40
