Does anyone remember the creme egg Brownie recipie that was doing the rounds on Facebook at Easter?
I made them and they were lush!

Can anyone suggest something similar for Christmas? Snowbites? What other Christmas chocolate would work?

Chocolate orange?

noitsachicken · 16/11/2013 08:31

Ooo yes that would be nice.

What might give a gooey effect though?

I've made Brownies with crushed candy canes before. They were v nice indeed.

TheYamiOfYawn · 16/11/2013 08:53

You could use After Eights or similar minty chocolate AND candy canes.

Sniwflecked Brownies - Nigella Lawson
Essentially a dark choc brownie studded with white choc chunks, cut up, piled high on a plate and dredged in icing sugar for a snowy affect.

Word of warning - reduce the caster sugar by 100 grams as there is so much sugar/chocolate in the original recipe its just toooooo sickly sweet.

Use this recipe as this is the one I used. If you cant find white choc buttons use chunks by breaking up a bar of white choc.

Reduce the sugar by atleast 100grms. I have got it down to 120gm from 320gm but thats my personal preference.

Nigella puts chunks of white chocolate in hers.

What about a chocolate brownie with chunks of Toblerone? Maybe buy a box of the mini Toblerones and break up (white, milk, dark )

MinnieBar · 16/11/2013 13:03

Where's the original recipe please?

DH got me a bar of Dairy Milk with Daim yesterday - would that work?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/11/2013 13:09

I cook them for a little longer though.

I think most things would work. The oreo dairy milk was good!
