Ours is ok in parts - Barney from Blue Peter, The Hoff and Su Pollard!

There must be worse than this around the country. I'm thinking ex-Gladiators etc...

We have Warwick Davies and a couple of people I've never heard of doing Snow White. And dh's work have organised a trip for those with kids, so found out 5 minutes ago that we'll be going... Although they only pay for one parent to go, so no idea if we'll both manage to go with the dc; just waiting to hear back if we can pay for an extra ticket ourselves!

We had the Fonz here a few years ago - ds1 ran into him in waitrose - literally unfortunately Blush, followed by a very apologetic dh, who then became even more embarrassed as he hadn't realised who ds had run into, in his (ds's) eagerness to see what olives were available at the deli counter. It wasn't just an 'omg, I'm really sorry he ran into you' apology, it was then layered with a dawning realisation of who he had run into and then worrying that he might have thought he'd done it on purpose. In his defence, ds was only 3, had no idea who the Fonz was and was totally obsessed with olives, and you don't usually expect the Fonz to be perusing the pancetta in front of you!

CountryPlumpkin · 04/11/2013 17:47

We have Linda Lusardi and some bloke. Do I win the Z list prize?

moonshine · 04/11/2013 17:47

CinnabarRed You may have Shane Ritchie but we have Shane Ritchie Junior - oh and Joe McElderry.

CinnabarRed · 04/11/2013 17:51

moonshine - it's like I'm your panto mother!

Willemdefoeismine · 04/11/2013 17:57

Ha we must live near you, Outragedofsurbubia....we've got Jo Brand too...

ShatnersBassoon · 04/11/2013 17:58

Shane Ritchie Junior?! Is that a real thing, like son of Shane? He was born to appear in provincial panto.

Thisisaghostly.. I'm up the road from southend, considering going to the low budget Basildon panto though as Southend one is a bit steep

Pachacuti · 04/11/2013 18:04

We're going to panto with FIL, where they have ChrisfromCbeebies.

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 04/11/2013 18:06

I know! I'd rather have Shane Ritchie jnr if it meant keeping the price below £35 a ticket Shock

Who are Basildon offering?

Titsalinabumsquash · 04/11/2013 18:06

We have Sid from cebeebies, and Stephen Mulhern off of Britons Got Talent.

AuntyEntropy · 04/11/2013 18:09

So jealous of the people with Craig R-H, I'm a bit of a connoisseur of Panto dames, and his Wicked Queen has been on my Must See list for ages.

(For those who are interested, my all time top 3 are Clive Rowe, Lily Savage, and Edna Everage, bottom was Roger "Trigger" Lloyd-Pack).

cogitosum · 04/11/2013 18:10

I've just checked and we have Carl Kennedy from Neighbours! Well impressed I may go!

Herecomesthehotstepper · 04/11/2013 18:11

Simon fielding Hmm according to imdb he was in London's burning

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 04/11/2013 18:11

Really aunty? Do you think crw will be good then?

Hmmm

evem123 · 04/11/2013 18:15

Weve got the chucklebrothers which the kids but mainly me are excited about

AuntyEntropy · 04/11/2013 18:16

Well he's a decent singer, he has good legs and is not afraid to use them (new hip permitting) and he's been doing it for the last 5 years or so, so I reckon he should be good, yes. Lisa Riley gets on my nerves, but she's got to be less annoying than Widdicombe, who was his previous sidekick.

evem123 · 04/11/2013 18:18

Countryplumpkin we had linda last year with her husband mahbe thats the bloke? She was allright !

Mrsmindcontrol · 04/11/2013 18:24

Countryplumpkin...think we've just moved to your area as saw a poster advertising our local panto yesterday & it was Linda Lusardi & her husband.

FWIW, he used to play Sam (I think) an extremely camp hairdresser in Brookside MANY MANY moons ago.

I was Shock when I found out they were married, would've put money on him being gay.

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 04/11/2013 18:25

That's encouraging, thank you!

Theimpossiblegirl · 04/11/2013 18:25

Louis Spence and Andy Ford.

DD commented that it might be a bit camp.
Grin

ChunkyPickle · 04/11/2013 18:26

I was going through Slough, and a bus there was advertising that they have Justin Fletcher!

I'm going to have to find out where it is, ds is just the right age for panto

wishywashywanda · 04/11/2013 18:29

We've got Christopher Biggins and Bob Carolgess.
Haven't heard of either of them Blush but will be going as dd's school has given everyone discounted tickets.

CinnabarRed · 04/11/2013 18:33

Haven't heard of Christopher Biggins and Bob Carolgess? Where have you been?

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 04/11/2013 18:34

Darren Put It Back In Your Fricking Pants Day. What joy. I shan't be going.

CinnabarRed · 04/11/2013 18:34

Don't tell me you don't remember Spit The Dog either?
