Thanks Glai and Insanity - I think he wants a real plastic dinosaur a la the one George has. You'd think someone would have already churned a load out but all I can find is this one from The Works which is a bit too scary looking or this one fromSmyths which isn't green and therefore runs risk of being "wrong" in the eyes of a 3 year old

Theonlyoneiknow · 22/10/2013 23:41

I checked my clubcard account and only the current valid vouchers are there, not any of the expired ones. I am going to phone them back tomorrow and hopefully get someone else. I could get two magazine gift subs as pressie with what's expired! My fault though for not noticing :(

DS will be four on Xmas day so I am in planning mayhem here!!

Littlemousewithcloggson · 22/10/2013 23:49

Chocolate will a soft dinosaur do? Peppa pigs world online shop has georges actual dinosaur (and peppas teddy too for that matter!)
Its the shop at paultons park and now does online orders

zipzap · 22/10/2013 23:50

I've just been giving the thread a quick scan before bedtime and spotted 'chocolate teabag' and thought that will be a good present for a chocolate loving tea loving friend. Looked closer and realised that it wasn't a gift idea at all Blush

Oops. Sorry choccy tbag!

Time to go to bed methinks [falling asleep in front of mumsnet again emoticon]

ValiumQueen · 22/10/2013 23:52

I am amazed they have not made a Mr Dinosaur toy as well. They would sell thousands. Perhaps I should start a business selling them, but I only sew. Green PVC would work I reckon. I got a dinosaur soft toy from Argos for my boy. Looks a bit like a crocodile, but I think he will like him. It was £3.99 on clearance. One of the designabear range.

Bummer about the vouchers. I am sure I should have more than it shows, but it lists the last two years worth. Are yours older than that?

whatareyoueventalkingabout · 22/10/2013 23:54

How do I work out where I am Jo to in this thread? I keep having to read through it every time. On an iPad so can anyone help stupid me? Sad

whatareyoueventalkingabout · 22/10/2013 23:54

Ooh my first ever face!!!

ValiumQueen · 22/10/2013 23:55

LittleMouse indeed they do! )£12.99 plus delivery. Free if spending over £25. I want one!

ValiumQueen · 22/10/2013 23:57

I flip the thread and scroll back to the time I last looked. There is a way of bookmarking but I have never managed it.

BumpKitty · 23/10/2013 00:06

Bookmarking - at the top of the thread there is a link saying 'customise' its in blue next to 'unanswered messages'. Click on it and it takes you to a page to edit your view of mumsnet. Under 'other options' second from the bottom is something like display bookmark links, change that to yes.
Then when you get to the end of a thread hover at the bottom right of the last post and a blue ox will appear saying bookmark, click on this and it will say saved. The next time you load the thread you will go to the saved post.

Shinyshoes1 · 23/10/2013 00:07

I flip too Smile

BumpKitty · 23/10/2013 00:07

Box not ox :)

whatareyoueventalkingabout · 23/10/2013 00:10

I am hovering but can't see a blue ox. Sorry if this isn't the right place to get help, my bargain contribution is some lovely muppets face towels from pound land, two for a pound could be split up and put into stockings x

giraffeseatpineapples · 23/10/2013 00:17

Try the customise options when you are on a pc, it should be easier to navigate, then hopefuly it will carry over when you are using your ipad? It can be quicker to change the options rather than flipping the thread every time (on my phone it made a huge difference).

whatareyoueventalkingabout · 23/10/2013 00:19

I was looking for an ox, no wonder I was confused....

whatareyoueventalkingabout · 23/10/2013 00:20

Found it! The box that is, still searching for the ox x

VandaDarkFlame · 23/10/2013 00:23

I haven't had time to read the entire thread (and am too slow to keep up with you all!) so not sure if this has been posted already, but elf have 50% off a £20 spend excluding delivery, it expires at 10.30 on wednesday morning.

ICameOnTheJitney · 23/10/2013 01:02

I've just bought the lovelt Playmobil My Take Along ModernDolls house here in Amazon not a HUGE saving but at 25 pounds, I think this is a lovely toy.

Chockywockydoodah · 23/10/2013 05:21

chill factor slushy cups £8.66

Hawkmoth · 23/10/2013 05:55

chocolateteabag you could try Toy Story Rex who is a nice dinosaury-type. But he's plastic and roary.

Soft Mr Dinosaur

I bet I get one of them for DD2 in a few years!

hippoherostandinghere · 23/10/2013 06:49

nothing online for sainsburys toy sale must be in store only. Can't decide whether to go or not after the school run.

IHeartIona · 23/10/2013 06:59

SurvivalOf - one third off Fisher Price according to a page on j-sainsburys.co.uk

SpookyTeacakes · 23/10/2013 07:03

I want to know if the baby's my first drum thing is half price

Chocolateteabag · 23/10/2013 07:07

Grin zipzap - you can get "chocolate" tea bags from some health food shops - more like a cinnamon vanilla type thing but the do exist!

hawkmoth!!!!!! that's the one!!! Why didn't I think of the Toy Story one!!! He is perfect- right colour and not too "scary" this thread is brilliant!

Thanks too for your suggestions rosie and Littlemouse Thanks
